- 'The Art of Toy Story 5' Coming May 2026
September 16th 2025 Pixar are continuing their long running tradition of releasing an artbook for their movies next year with an entry for the upcoming Toy Story 5 . They are partnering again with Chronicle Books to deliver fans a look at the artwork for Buzz and Woody's return to the big screen in 2026. The Art of Toy Story 5 was spotted on retailer listings and currently has no cover art to show, but some details are available, including the release date of May 26th 2026. As expected, it will include character art, storyboards, colour scripts, and interviews throughout. The hardcover book is also noted to have 172 pages and retails at $50/£40. You may have noticed that the May 26th publication date is before the movie's current release of June 19th, which is unusual when most artbooks for movies and video games come between weeks and years after a release. This is normal for not just Pixar though, but also all Disney animation artbooks from Chronicle Books as seen with their recent releases, including The Art of Elio , The Art of Moana 2 , and The Art of Inside Out 2. If you are a Pixar fan but haven't checked out the artbooks before, you may find a lot to love inside as the visual style seen on-screen is also wonderfully displayed in the work of the artists. The sketches, colour keyframes, unused designs, storyboards, and location concepts all carry the charming aesthetics that make it into the movies. You can check out a flip through below of The Art of Elio to get an idea of what to expect. If you are feeling impatient and want some Toy Story on your shelf sooner, then there's good news as Disney/Pixar The Color of Toy Story: A 30th Anniversary Celebration of Colorscripts and Creativity is out September 23rd. This book boasts over 300 pages of artwork for the first four movies, taking readers through their stories with colour scripts and concept art. Whether you grew up with the movies, are a new and younger fan, it's a great time to be a lover of Toy Story, especially if have some space on your shelf. The books will also appeal to aspiring artists and people already working in the industry too, which is even mentioned in the description of the book. The artwork above was officially released by Pixar for Toy Story 5 and comes with a brief description of the movie ahead of more details and a trailer. It will focus on Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the toys as they are introduced to the modern day child and their new obsession in technology. This is no doubt a big release for the studio as Toy Story was not only the first full-length animated feature, but having come out in 1995, has spanned generations and is beloved by a huge audience, all of which will surely make the story hit home for many. It was inevitable that The Art of Toy Story 5 would be revealed at some point, but it's always good to get the confirmation and a copy will certainly be joining collection here too. If like me, you're a fan of Toy Story, then you can pre-order the book below; Tags; #ToyStory #Pixar #Disney #ChronicleBooks
- Cover Art Revealed for 'The Art of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach'
September 15th 2025 Titan Books has given the upcoming artbook for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach another update, this time revealing the final cover art ahead of its release later this year. The Art of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is being published in partnership with the game's developer Kojima Productions and was announced on the 26th of April. The last update gave us the release date of November 11th, but the only thing left to show was the cover, as up until now a placeholder was being used. The new cover has now been revealed as spotted on the website of Titan Books, but also now on retailer websites, and can be seen below. If you own the artbook for the original game, The Art of Death Stranding , you will notice that this cover is in keeping to that one with a similar design. The beach and deceased whales are used in both and even the rock formations are very similar, with the glaring difference being the glowing red servers found at the end of the game. The same gold lettering is also used, perhaps and indication the new book will also have golden gilded edged to the paper as seen before too. You can see the cover for the first artbook below for a comparison. The upcoming 256-page hardcover will feature the concept art and designs for the game, including artwork from the industry veteran Yoji Shinkawa who has worked with Director Kojima on multiple video games, which includes the Metal Gear Solid series. Expect to see the art for the characters, technology, locations, and the enemies of the game, with commentary throughout. The Art of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is available for pre-order for an RRP of $40/ £30, a fantastic price comparatively to others on the market. This should be the last update for the book ahead of its November 11th release, but be sure to check back here then for an in-depth review of the book. - 'The Art of The Outer Worlds 2' Delayed One Week
September 15th 2025 The upcoming artbook for the highly anticipated release of The Outer Worlds 2 from Obsidian Entertainment has been given a delay. Fortunately it is only a short push and keeps its publication date in 2025. The Art of The Outer Worlds 2 is coming by way of Dark Horse Books and it was on their own website where this date change was spotted. Announced in June for release on December 16th, the 192-page hardcover is now coming on December 23rd 2025. No reason has been given for the delay, which isn't unusual, in fact, it's the case the the vast majority of schedule changes. These can happen for a myriad of reasons, including print issues, missing assets, scheduling changes, updates, and more. It's also the norm for an artbook to be pushed sadly and a huge portion of the stories on this site are for delays. Sticking to the original release date is the exception, not the rule, and not a problem limited to any one publisher either, it's just a reality of the artbook world. In this case though, the delay is very short, which is good news. Dark Horse is not only the publisher with the most video game artbook releases over the last few years, but also the partner for multiple Xbox Game Studios books too, which includes artbooks for Halo, Gears of War, DOOM, and the soon to be released book, Starfield Visual Compendium . The Art of the Outer Worlds 2 is being released in their standard format as a 9" x 12" hardcover, so you can expect a well made book with a great print quality. There's a reason so many game studios partner with Dark Horse, because their consistency makes them an easy choice as a go to for video game artbooks. Inside fans can expect a look at the concept art and deigns for the eccentric characters, mix of locations, sci-fi weapons, deadly enemies, and more for the RPG from the art team at Obsidian. As well as this, the team behind the game provides commentary to give additional insights for their world of Arcadia. The retro-futuristic visual design is perfectly suited for the artbook treatment and will no doubt be filled with a lot of fun artwork based on what we have seen in the game so far. With the game launching next month on October 29th, it's not too long of a wait to grab this upcoming book for people wanting more from The Outer Worlds 2 after taking on the megacorporations. With no artbook available to buy for the first game, this makes for an exciting opportunity for new fans and old to add some of the game's craziness to their shelf. The Art of The Outer Worlds 2 is available for pre-order now and those wanting to add it to their shelf can secure a copy here before its December 23rd release date; Tags; #TheOuterWorlds2 #ObsidianEntertainment #XboxGameStudios #DarkHorse

- Book Review - Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts: The Art of the Movie
September 15th 2025 Back again with another artbook in their long running series, Marvel Studios are this time giving fans a look at the concept art behind Thunderbolts , aka The New Avengers . Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts: The Art of the Movie dives into the team-up of some favourite ‘antiheroes’, as well as the introduction of new fan favourite Bob, and has now joined the collection here so I can give my thoughts on the latest book from the studio. Available anywhere you buy books, it was published by Marvel themselves on September 9 th , just four months after the movie was released, which is a quick turnaround for the studio as they continue to play catchup. As always the review will be broken down into 5 points; build quality, content, credits, use of space and value, covering everything you need to know before buying! Build Quality This is the fourth in the series to come with a slipcase and lithograph prints, offering a little more than just the hardcover book. The slipcase is the same matching size as the previous releases, coming in at 30cm x 27cm and is thick and sturdy, making it more than just decorative. This was a selling point of the books during the Infinity Saga and a welcome return, also coming with fantastic artwork in this case from Andy Park. The 29cm x 24.5cm book inside comes again with 224 pages, no surprise here, but it does include a better cover then their last two in this format, as it includes artwork on the front. The gloss paper inside isn’t as good as what you find in most artbooks as it is thinner, but it still feels decent in quality. Unfortunately, in this case the binding is a little tight and doesn’t always allow the pages to open fully, putting text and images on the awkward bend by the centre fold. It’s not the worst I’ve seen, but does have an impact on some pages. The book can be seen in the top centre below, with the 5 prints surrounding it. The lithograph prints again don’t do much for me personally, adding little value and not using art that takes up the full card. I’ve said before that they aren’t a huge step up from free giveaways at a local cinema, but at least this time the prints aren’t so dark they obscure the image detail. Some may like them, but it still very much feels like justification to set the RRP at $100 and that will always be a negative for the series while using this format. My copy also came with pages that have creases and marks that I was not impressed by. This is not due to handling, as the book is not damaged and neighbouring pages are fine. These were put into the book this way and it was clearly an oversight on the part of the team putting it together. It is unlikely to be the only copy like this, though there may only be a small handful, but it should have been picked up. Content This book comes with some nice surprises, as well as retuning highs and lows seen before from Marvel too. If you own previous entries to the series, you know what to expect for the most part with its costume exploration, location concepts, keyframes, and insights throughout from the team behind the film. This is what you buy the books for and you won’t be disappointed with what you find here. The art itself as expected highlights the incredible talent of the people that work on the MCU. As always, I’m not writing this to review critique artwork, but I’m a big fan of the artists ability to take costumes and characters from the comics and give them life for live-action. The location art is highly detailed and you can see how moments of the movie were shaped using the incredible keyframes too. I’m a long-time fan of Director of Visual Development Andy Park, as well as many of the other artists such as Wesley Burt and Aleksi Briclot, so it’s always nice to get more of their work on the shelf here. A highlight of the book and a return inclusion are storyboards in a handful of spots found throughout. These aren’t always used, but are hopefully going to be on ongoing feature now that they have been featured here and in Marvel Studios' Captain America: Brave New World - The Art of the Movie . They also shine the spotlight on a handful sketches and earlier artwork too, as opposed to just the high detailed concepts we are used to seeing, which are welcome additions. There is a lot of costume design as expected for the returning faces, as well as for Sentry/ The Void which will be the big selling point for fans. It was really nice to see that Taskmaster gets 7 spreads of concepts, especially after her short appearance in the movie. It’s not the full redemption the character should have though, but it’s something. It was odd though that Taskmaster would get so many spreads, when John Walker gets just one. It is mentioned his suit didn’t change much, but I wasn’t expecting him to get so much less than everyone else. A surprise was that there is a lot more location art that I was expecting given that the movie isn’t using exotic or alien environments like you get in Guardians of the Galaxy. As the the movie’s focus is on the team, I was anticipating much more of a character art showcase, but I like that they balanced it out. There is less in the way of unused ideas as some previous artbooks though, you won’t find unused characters, cut ideas or a wealth of keyframes you that didn’t see on-screen. The unused material is in the early iterations of what was used, such as costumes, building designs, or most interestingly the tentacle exploration for The Void, all of which are still fun to see. I was hoping to see more for what could have been for Taskmaster before the role was cut back, but she was only in one unused keyframe outside of the costume concepts. The text is well written and has some nice insights into the art direction, plot and characters. It boasts interviews from the visual development team, director, actors and more, each giving details that fans will find engaging. This is another thing that Marvel have been consistently good at and is a strong point of the series. A negative though is the return of continued print quality problems that has been ongoing for a while now. Some of the art here would have been better off not included, as the same problem with dark clothing and backgrounds makes details hard to make out. The print quality overall is inconsistent, as some tones can also look saturated and aren’t clear when placed next to each other. Perhaps the thinner paper used is a factor in the printing process and finished product, but I cannot understand why this hasn’t been addressed by Marvel. With so many books affected, it seems they are happy with this quality and although it doesn’t affect as many pages this time, it’s not acceptable that it happens in multiple books sold at premium prices. They only have to look to the Titan Books rereleases of their older artbooks to realise that a much better print quality can be achieved. While I hope it improves, I’m not holding my breath with the issue being this far down the line. Examples can be seen below. Credits This part of the review could be written before the book even arrives, because the artists are always credited on each page and listed in the back too. It’s always done well and should be the artbook standard. Outstanding as always! Use of Space Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts: The Art of the Movie highlights another strong and consistent part of their books with the page design. Everything is a good size, the layouts are well organised and the pages are filled. Although the days of the Infinity Saga books having higher page counts are long gone, they do make good use out of the capped 224 pages seen since then. Sadly, there is image loss due to parts being swallowed in the centre fold and this is made worse the tight binding mentioned before too. It again raises the point that the quality needs to be checked by the publishing team, as this should be avoided as much as possible. Image loss is a problem for many artbooks—though some publishers have begun to minimise or solve it—but there is certainly room for improvement here by allowing the backing material to flex more. Value The RRP price of $100/ £89.99 is going to be a repeat problem for these releases, which acts as a barrier to entry for potential buyers. Like before, while the quality of the artwork is great, the presentation problems it comes with, the 224 page cap, and poor lithograph prints make that a tough sell. I’m repeating myself again for these Marvel artbooks, but the jump from $60 to $100 for the slipcase and prints is just too much and not remotely competitive to other publishers like Dark Horse, Titan Books, and others, at full price, each offering a better build quality and print results at lower prices. As always though, it’s worth noting that these books can be found discounted fairly quickly and shopping around might help you avoid the high price. For example, Amazon UK already has the book on sale at the time of writing this at 38% off. They come down in price quickly, likely an indication they are aware of the sticker shock. A conspiracy theorist might say that this was the plan all along! Verdict Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts: The Art of the Movie is your standard Marvel artbook, a wonderful showcase of character, location, and keyframe art, which is not a bad thing and great if you’re an MCU fan and enjoy this series. It does have some print issues and you don’t get as many unused goodies, but the biggest issue here continues to be value for money. It’s a hard book to recommend unless you can either find a reasonable deal or you’re fortunate enough to have Tony Stark money. Unless you are feeling less like Bob and more like The Void without this on your shelf, I’d wait for a price reduction. - The Fantastic Four: First Steps Artbook Gets a Title Update and New Slipcase Art
September 9th 2025 There has been yet another update for the upcoming book based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of The Fantastic Four, but one that raises yet more questions ahead of its November 18th release. Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps - The Art of the Movie has a new title update, but also an image of the slipcase the two volumes will come inside. As you can see above, a new promotion image has been released that was spotted on retailer websites. Unfortunately, there is no high resolution image of just the artwork, nor is there any previews for the books themselves. This has been the case for the previous releases though, with the covers revealed only when you get your hands on a copy. The most interesting update—yet one that seems a little odd—is the the addition to the title. As seen on Amazon, its full title is now ' Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps - The Art of the Movie Deluxe Edition Slipcase'. This is of note, because if you have seen previous updates on this website about the book, one thing has always been pointed out is the price. At $150, this eclipses many deluxe editions of other artbooks, yet this is the only version of the book. Adding 'Deluxe Edition' implies there is a standard edition, but no listing currently exists. This is misleading then, because the inclusion of the word 'Edition' brings the expectation of there being multiple versions. An optimistic outcome is that this would mean that a new listing is coming for a standard edition, although these still go for a lofty sum of $100. Currently though, without another version being available, this is nothing more than a justification for the price. Perhaps the people at Marvel have realised that the price point is way above what other publishers sell artbooks for and pre-order sales are low, so this has been used to indicate additional value. Maybe someone at the team stumbled onto this website or social media and saw the criticism of the pricing, prompting them to update book again. Either way, the idea of a Deluxe Edition is a good one, but without a standard edition. it's just a way to imply increased value without giving it. Above art by Ryan Meinerding While the overall quality of the Marvel Studios artbooks has been very high since The Art of Iron Man in 2008, the reality is people need to see value for money. Reporting news and updates means being as objective as possible, so while the reporting of the price has been negative, this is based on the artbook market. With so many being released each month, including a huge amount already out there for Marvel—and specifically the MCU—this stands out as being poorly priced based on what is included. Unless more updates appear before its release, two books with 288 pages between them and 5 prints is a lot to ask fans for at $150, especially when you can pick up multiple 224-page MCU artbooks for less in total. The second volume is a new edition for this release, which is responsible for the $50 price increase. 'Future Foundation Portfolio' was the title revealed last month and it doesn't come with concept art like 'The Art of the Movie' volume, but rather schematics for the in-universe gadgets and designs of Reed Richards. It's an interesting addition that again highlights the need for a standard edition of the book, because there are potentially people that only want to see concept art, so increasing the entry price for a book that may not have the same appeal could lose Marvel potential buyers. It will certainly be interesting to see if any more details are given or a new listing appears, because Marvel are swinging big with this one. Fans of the movies and shows are passionate people, so will the additional volume convince them to overlook the price tag, or will this format be abandoned going forward? The $100 slipcase books aren't topping the book sales charts on sites like Amazon either, which includes Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts: The Art of the Movie that was released today, which is strange given it's the biggest franchise in cinema. Could this new release be a move in the right direction, or an indication that they need to look at other artbook publishers and their approach to pricing? Top pages by artists Rodney Fuentebella and Thomas du Crest, bottom pages by Wesley Burt The many Marvel Cinematic Universe artbooks can fill entire book cases with high quality artwork in wonderfully designed books. Consistency was their greatest strength, but now that they have 3 different formats being released inside of the same year, not to mention the Titan Books rereleases and more coming from Abrams Books, it's clear they are changing their approach. What you find inside of each book will seemingly continue their consistent design presentation though, so perhaps they will soon settle into another format to run with for another decade as they have done before. - Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Artbook Coming In 2026
September 5th 2025 A new artbook is coming next year from Marvel Animation in partnership with publisher Abrams Books for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man . The book was spotted on the website of the publisher and has also begun to appear on retailer listings too. 'The Art of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' appeared online earlier this week with a release date of June 2nd 2026, but has since been shifted to June 9th. It's a long way off from release, so changes aren't unexpected, especially as the book is yet to even receive a placeholder cover image, highlighting that it's still being worked on. We do have the details that it is a 224-page hardcover with an RRP of $45/ £35. A description is also available for the book that highlights what it will include, with the key features as noted here; "The Art of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is a collector's item packed with photos and interviews with key creatives accompany sketches, storyboards, character and costume designs, animation cels, and other ephemera from the making of the series." This is not the first book that Abrams Books has worked on with Marvel Animation—though they were still using the name Marvel Studios at the time—as they released The Art of Marvel Studios’ What If...? in August of 2024. This was after Marvel themselves had listed the book as part of their ongoing artbooks series for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, before eventually cancelling the book and later publishing it through Abrams. This new book is likely an indication that all future animated series from the studio will be released this way too. Abrams Books also released Marvel Studios: The Art of Ryan Meinerding , shining the spotlight on the artwork of the Head of Visual Development and his concept art from the very first Iron Man through to Wakanda Forever. It's interesting that Marvel uses other publishers for their artbooks, which includes Dark Horse and Titan Books too, as they are a publisher themselves, but with so many coming out and delays being common still, perhaps it is to best handle the volume of releases. Most recently The Art of Marvel Rivals was released through Dark Horse. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man follows Peter Parker as he continues to grow into the role of the web-slinger, meeting new allies and taking on many of the character's villains from the comics. The series premiered on Disney+ in January of this year and uses a comic book visual style, which will no doubt be explored in this new book. The series was received well by fans, so this may be of interest to not only people that saw the show, but Spider-Man fans in general. Future updates will be shared here and those wanting to add this book to their collection can do so by pre-ordering the book below. - Book Review - The Art of Marvel Rivals
September 4th 2025 Following it’s hugely successful release in December of 2024, it was clear that Marvel Rivals would be getting the artbook treatment. Not only did it cut out a space for itself in the competitive multiplayer market, but its visual style gave Marvel’s household names a fresh look. Less than a year later, The Art of Marvel Rivals is here, giving players a look at some of the artwork that helped bring the game to life. The book was published by Dark Horse in partnership with the game’s developer NetEase and is available to buy now after being released on September 2nd. The book has joined the collection here, so I have been able to dive into the book and give you my thoughts! Build Quality This is a Dark Horse release, so it’s another short and sweet segment as the ever-reliable format makes its return. This time with 208 pages, the 23.5 x 31cm hardcover is again a well-made book with high quality paper and strong binding. It’s what you come to expect from the publisher and it has been this way for a long time, because if it works, there’s no reason to change anything at all. Content The Art of Marvel Rivals was definitely made as an art showcase, with a focus on the style and designs they used for the Marvel characters as seen in the game. This means that while those that love the art style will enjoy what they get here, people that are hoping for deep insights and early designs will be left wanting more from the book. If you like the visual direction of the game—one which has given the characters fresh looks while retaining their recognizable identities—you’ll enjoy the work of the art team here too. This review isn’t intended to critique the artwork, but the bold visual style is one that I really enjoy. Fans, as well as artists looking for interesting references, will love what you can see in this release. The superb print quality also helps the art pop off the page. The book is made up mostly of character art pages, with each hero or villain getting a couple of spreads each. On the first spread you get the title, character description and final design, along with some more pieces of art in various poses. Some of the characters also have things like weapons included too. The designs found here though are what you see in the game, there is no unused material or development concepts. It’s a real shame, as the art style is so strong, it would have been great to include the other ideas the artists had. This might be the biggest disappointment of the book, which highlights its clear intention to act as a gallery over a concept art book. The second spread for each character includes animation art and skins. The 2-3 alternative costumes are also final designs only, with no variation or early ideas on display either. However, I do think the animation art for the attacks and abilities is a nice addition, as they depict the dynamic movements and effects used for the gameplay, some of which aren't in the final game. It’s one of the highlights for me and leaves me wishing they included more content like this. The books also features artwork for the locations, but again there are no early concepts here, but rather 3-4 full colour pieces on each spread. It’s not a huge section of the book as the characters dominate the page count. It then ends with promotional and cutscene art, with only a single page of storyboards to end the book. Again, they all nice inclusions clearly focused on presenting their stunning artwork over development art, in which it fully succeeds. The text throughout doesn’t add a huge amount, the vast majority describes the characters and locations. There is some that speaks to the art itself, pointing out design choices, but with only a couple of sentences used at a time, don’t expect to learn too much about the artists approach or goals. Sadly then, the book’s description is misleading, because this is a gallery showcase. There is nothing wrong with that, but it should have been presented that way. To highlight this, here is part of the description; “Explore the development of freshly reimagined icons like Iron Man, Namor, Storm, and many more—including their imitable skills and equipment, and a vast wardrobe of unique costumes. The action all takes place across maps inspired by Marvel's most recognizable locales—from the spires of Yggsgard to the depths of Hydra’s Hive World—concept art for all of which can be analyzed in extreme detail.” There’s no development exploration here, no vast wardrobe of costumes, and no extreme detail with insights or concept art. Had this been an illustration book, I would be more positive on the content, but it’s described as a more conventional ‘Art of’ book. I actually like the artwork a lot, but without the development insights and early art, it’s far from as good as it could be. Perhaps a page count bump from 208 to 240+ would have allowed for this. Credits This is sadly another negative, because I have just highlighted that The Art of Marvel Rivals is art focused with less insights, presenting some fantastic artwork to the reader, but it doesn't say who is responsible for that art. Some books don’t credit the images, which isn’t ideal, but they at least list the art team in the back of the book. However, that is not the case here. To have such a great style for the game, also based on iconic characters from Marvel, you’d expect the artists to get the recognition they deserve for working on such a huge IP. A big selling point of the game is the style, so the artbook should have recognised those that helped create it. Use of Space On to a more positive aspect of this release, the layouts are simple, yet strong throughout. As mentioned before, the characters are all presented in the same way, so there’s not a huge amount of variation, but the pages are filled and the images are good sizes too. The location chapter also floods the pages with artwork. As well as this, the pieces that cross the centre fold do a very good job at avoiding image loss too. The designers did a really good job with this book. Value The book has an RRP of $54.99/ £49.99 which is the usual amount for an artbook from Dark Horse, so business as usual. Of course, discounts are common for artbooks so you can likely find it below this. Using Amazon as always for consistency, in the UK is already over 30% off at the time of writing this, just a day after the book was published. In the US it is currently full price, but this will likely fluctuate too. This is a good price for the book, just bear in mind the description isn’t entirely accurate, so pick it up knowing what you are getting. Verdict This is one of those books that is tough to review, because as much as it isn’t entirely positive, I enjoyed my time with it despite being disappointed by the lack of insights and development concepts. The artwork does the heavy lifting here, so if you want to see a gallery of images for the game, you’ll consider this as great addition to your shelf. Unfortunately though, the book promised more than it delivered, so it’s only fair to review it based on that intention. I have no doubt that the sketches and alternative designs look incredible, but you won’t find them here. The lack of artists credits is also very disappointing. Because of this, I could only recommend the book to those that are happy with art for the final designs, or artists wanting some good references. - Two Marvel Studios' Infinity Saga Artbooks Have Been Delayed
August 29th 2025 A couple of delays have hit the Infinity Saga artbook series from Titan Books, the new collection that has been publishing reissues of the older Marvel Cinematic Universe books. The big one is for Marvel Studios' The Infinity Saga - Spider-Man: Homecoming - The Art of the Movie , though there will no doubt be more changes coming too. Last set for release on October 7th following a previous delay, the date has now been moved to November 11th 2025. This is almost certainly a result of the next release in the series, Marvel Studios' The Infinity Saga - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: The Art of the Movie , getting delayed earlier this month to September 30th. But this new date is problematic for the release order of the series, so future updates will be coming. The books are being published in the same order as the originals, but now the upcoming book based on Spider-Man: Homecoming , which is the 15th of 24 in the series, is now coming a week after the 16th book in the series. As it currently stands, Marvel Studios' The Infinity Saga Thor: Ragnarok - The Art of the Movie is set to be published on November 4th, so this is almost certainly going to be moved further back in the year too. The next book after that is for Black Panther , but that is not due until February 3rd 2026, so it's possible it can be pushed to an earlier date, avoiding a bigger domino effect. The second delay in the series is for Marvel Studios' The Infinity Saga The Road to Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War - The Art of the Marvel Cinematic Universe , which has now been delisted from the Titan Books website and hidden from search on websites like Amazon. The book has not been cancelled, but according to their publicist is "not in progress at the moment". It was after this update about its release that it was removed from their website. Prior to this, it was due to hit shelves December 23rd, before the Black Panther book which should be published first. It is likely that it was revealed too early and that it will be listed again with other books when production begins, likely placing it in March or April of 2026. The last book released in the series from Titan Books was Marvel Studios' The Infinity Saga - Doctor Strange: The Art of the Movie . You can read a review of that book, along with more comparisons to the original, like the example seen below, here . The top book is the original, below is the Titan Books Infinity Saga release. The Titan Books' Infinity Saga series is perfect for fans that may have missed out on older artbooks due to their availability, or possibly being younger fans. Many of the original slipcase releases that were published by Marvel are hard to come by now, with high prices on second hand markets. Although these books are slightly smaller in size, the improved print quality, binding, and price point make them very easy to recommend. A review of Marvel Studios' The Infinity Saga - Spider-Man: Homecoming - The Art of the Movie will be shared here when it arrives in November, along with comparisons to the original. - Book Review - The Art of Star Wars Outlaws
August 28th 2025 Star Wars has a long history with artbooks, going back as far as 1979 with a release for A New Hope , so when a new one is released, it’s always going to pop up on the radars of fans and collectors. There’s a lot to live up to, the catalogue has a high bar of quality for both the books and the artwork itself, which brings us to The Art of Star Wars Outlaws . The book is now here and allows us to find out if it continues the brilliance of the past books, or needs to be thrown into the Sarlacc Pit. The book was released on August 19 th by Dark Horse Books in partnership with Lucas Publishing and the developer of Star Wars Outlaws , Massive Entertainment. It’s worth noting that the copy I have is a US import, as its sales are restricted to America and parts of Canada. However, for those elsewhere, copies are slowly making their way over, but currently an import is the best way to get hold of the book. I’ve long been anticipating this book, so let’s see if this revisit to the criminal underworld of Kay Vess and Nix was worth the wait! Build Quality Dark Horse are consistent in their formatting and that’s not a bad thing, you always get a well-made book and never have to worry about issues with the overall quality. The book comes with 224 pages in a 23.5 x 31cm hardcover like the vast majority of their artbooks. The paper choice and binding is very good as always, leaving me confident that it will not fall apart over time. It’s always short and sweet with a Dark Horse book for this part of a review, so all is well so far. Content Inside you’ll find a nice mix of content that covers the early ideas for the game, through to its marketing. Beginning with a chapter for it conception, it moves on to the characters, locations, technology, and ends with storyboards and key art. It packs a lot in and does a fantastic job at showing not just what they ended up using, but a lot of unused concepts too. The Conception chapter highlights immediately that this book explores the entire development, as it focuses on the earliest ideas, including paper sketches and 'blue sky' concept art that explores what the game could eventually be. These allow the reader to see the seeds of what eventually became Star Wars Outlaws and is one of the highlights of the book. Of course, a part players will look forward to is the artwork for the fan-favourite companion Nix, who gets a nice batch of spreads that highlights the development of his design. It’s well presented and shows how the team looked at different ideas before narrowing it down to what we see in the game. This is also the approach to Kay, her speeder and the Trailblazer too, all much more interesting than just slight variations of a final design. Environment art makes up the bulk of the book, from the towns and outposts, to open areas and planet orbits, all getting the showcase they deserve. What I particularly like here is that, like what I found in The Art of Assassin’s Creed Shadows , most of the location art includes characters or active scenes, making them much more interesting than an empty area. This gives the images life and you can see how the game ended up with well crafted populated areas, because it already had not just the designs, but the feel of these places too, including the new world of Toshara and the instantly recognizable Tatooine. The art itself is spectacular as expected, although I review books and not the talent of the people at the studio, it’s hard not to mention the quality on display. Star Wars has had some of the greatest artists in the industry work on the franchise, including Ralph McQuarrie, Doug Chiang and Ryan Church, so there is a lot to live up to. Fortunately, the incredible gallery of artwork for its galaxy continues with exceptional art across the board from the team at the Ubisoft studio. As well as the mix of content, another highlight definitely worth mentioning is the print quality that allows the art to shine. There are places here where the images are smaller, but where that may not look great in some books, here it is not a problem at all, with all of the details clearly visible on every page. The artists at Massive Entertainment will no doubt be pleased with the presentation of their work. The previews seen in this review give you an idea of what to expect, though can't ever do the quality justice, but this book stands out amongst many. The text is well written and gives insights into the art direction and approach to the designs, as well as explaining the goals of the team at various stages. Some parts also give descriptions of the characters and worlds too. There’s not a huge amount to read, but they are effective in what they included as it adds interesting details without giving you hours of reading. Star Wars fans will also appreciate them sharing their inspirations and source material for the art, which includes the movies, shows, and books. Credits The artist credits are not on each page which unfortunate, but they are not excluded either, as a full list of names can be found in the back of the book. I always like to see them assigned to each image, but they did the next best thing and put their names and job titles on their own page for those that are interested in finding more from the artists. Use of Space The Art of Star Wars Outlaws has done a superb job at fitting a lot of art in, without it becoming a chaotic mess. The layouts are clear and easy to follow, with good placement of the text too. Many of the backgrounds are made of up large pieces of art, so smaller images are bordered off to keep them clearly separated with their text description. The placement of the art used outside the borders works really well and the print quality helps in getting more on each page when they chose to use smaller images. Art that crosses the centre fold has minimum image loss, something that is problematic more often than not, so they have done a great job here. Text that is placed on top of images is used in areas that don’t obscure detail, showing it was clearly thought about carefully. Overall, they did really well to pack so much content in, without the art suffering for it. Value The book retails at $54.99, what you would expect from a Dark Horse artbook, so nothing unusual there. As always though, prices rise and fall and it's already no different for this release. Using Amazon as always to stay consistent, the price has dropped at the time of writing this on the US site to $48.15 shortly after being published, showing that it has already dipped, although this will of course fluctuate. This is all a fair price for what you get, the book is well made and comes with a lot of content, so I don’t think anyone will left feeling like they have been overcharged for this one. For those outside of the US that aren't able to order the book locally, importing the book could increase the price. The copy here came from Amazon US and was still under £45, which is incredibly reasonable for a new book, so it may be a good option for those hoping to get more from Star Wars Outlaws . Verdict The artists had a lot to live up to when making the game, as did Dark Horse when making a Star Wars artbook, but fortunately for both, they have done a superb job and give fans something worthy of their shelf. The Art of Star Wars Outlaws continues the impressive legacy of Star Wars artbooks, showcasing incredible artwork in a well-designed book. If you’re a fan of the game or Star Wars in general, you’ll find a lot to enjoy here. - 'The Art of Borderlands 4' Delayed to October
August 26th 2025 Players excited for the next entry in the Borderlands series will now have a little longer to wait to get their hands on the upcoming book from Dark Horse. As spotted on the website of the publisher, the concept art showcase for Gearbox's Borderlands 4 has been pushed, but fortunately only by a week. The Art of Borderlands 4 was set for release on September 30th, the same month as the game's launch on September 12th, something that has become increasingly less common for artbooks. Now though, the book will be released on October 7th, which is still within four weeks of people jumping into the world of Klairos. The artbook is set to showcase the concept art, sketches, and renders for the looter-shooter, as well as insights from the development team. Based on previous artbooks for Borderlands, players can expect a look at the new characters, the hazardous environments, enemies, vehicles, and the huge arsenal of weapons the series is known for. The 224-page book comes in Dark Horse's standard 9" x 12" hardcover format, so readers can expect their consistent good quality too. It is authored by Rick Barba, who wrote for The Art of Assassin's Creed Shadows , a book that was also published by Dark Horse and received a very positive review from this site. Long time fans will know that there have been three previous artbook releases for the series, The Art of Borderlands 2 from BradyGames, The Art of Borderlands 3 from Titan Books, and the first book that Dark Horse published, The Art of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands . The last two can still be found online, so if you missed out on those, there is still time to add them to your own shelf. Borderlands 4 is coming to PS5, Xbox Series S/ X and PC on September 12th, 6 years after the release of Borderlands 3. The series is known for starting the 'looter-shooter' sub-genre, defined by its large number of randomized loot drops from enemies and containers found in the environment. The original Borderlands was released in 2009, followed by two sequels, The Pre-Sequel , Tiny Tina's Wonderlands , multiple DLC's across the series, and two releases from Telltale Games. This upcoming entry will no doubt sell well to, with Borderlands 3 having impressively sold over 22 million copies. Any future changes will be reported here, as well as a review when a copy joins the collection, a book I am looking forward to getting into. - New Cover and Previews revealed for 'Mortal Kombat: Flawless Victory'
August 25th 2025 The upcoming deep dive into the art of the iconic Mortal Kombat series is almost here, but fans now have some previews to enjoy, as well as a look at the official cover art. The new look at the book from Insight Editions and developer NetherRealm Studios was spotted on retailer listings, giving players a taste of what is to come. With the full title of Mortal Kombat: Flawless Victory: A Visual History of the Iconic Series , the over 300 page book is set for release on October 21st, but up until now, there was only had a placeholder image available. This has now changed, with the reveal of a simple cover design with the title and focus on the series logo as seen below. Mortal Kombat: Flawless Victory will showcase the visual history since it took over the arcades in 1992, highlighting the early artwork of the brutally violent series from then until now. As well as this, readers will learn about the games through interviews with the teams that work on them. Ahead of its release, preview pages have been released that give us a look at what they can expect from the book when it arrives in October. The first preview is a look at various titles throughout the series long history, indicating that it will not focus on just one era. The second spread gives readers a look at some insights and sketches for the '92 release, the beginning of the 'Klassic Era', with the third diving into creating the Goro with stop-motion. It's clear this is more than just a printed art gallery, but also a glimpse behind the scenes of the creation of the titles too. The final 4 previews shine the spotlight on the character art, beginning with Scorpion and his various looks across the different titles in the series, with this spread including his look for Mortal Kombat II , 3 , 4 , Deadly Alliance and X . Next is some character lore and concept art for Mileena from Mortal Kombat 1 , then insights to the Mortal Kombat story with more artwork, and finally a look at the Netherrealm ruler, Shinnok. These last 4 spreads indicate that the book may not be divided the entire way through by each game, but that there seems to be a character section too that collects designs across many years of releases. This is a good way to show how each of them has evolved over time, especially for those that have been with Mortal Kombat since the very beginning. Between this book and the upcoming release of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Collection for PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Nintendo, fans old and new can enjoy the legacy of the franchise more than 30 years since it introduced people to its deadly characters and gruesomely fun and violent Fatalities. If you are someone that would love to get more Sub-Zero, Raiden, Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, and more, can buy Mortal Kombat: Flawless Victory here; Tags; #MortalKombat #InsightEditions #NetherRealmStudios #WarnerBros #MidwayGames

Some of his work on the upcoming sequel Avatar: Fire and Ash can be found online and highlights his talent for creating alien worlds with incredible detail. - Flip Through - The Art of BioShock Infinite
August 22nd 2025 This week on The Artbook Collector YouTube channel is preview of The Art of BioShock Infinite from Dark Horse and Irrational Games. The 2013 first-person shooter introduced a new setting in the BioShock universe, the floating city of Columbia. This book explores how the artists helped bring it to life, as well as the inhabitants, enemies, machines, weapons, and Vigors of the game. Included are lot of early and unused ideas, such as the different designs and animals considered when creating Songbird. BioShock Infinite from 2013 is a first-person shooter from Irrational Games and directed by Ken Levine, the mind behind the original BioShock. that takes players out of the underwater world of Rapture and into the floating city of Columbia, a seemingly idyllic vision of American exceptionalism that hides deep corruption and fanaticism. Players step into the role of Booker DeWitt who is tasked with bringing back a girl from Columbia, the floating city that looks like a utopia, but hides a more sinister side. Elizabeth, the girl Booker is looking for, has reality altering powers, but also has a deadly guardian he must avoid, Songbird. The game was praised among fans for its action, world design, and story, before later winning awards for it's visuals, sound design and music. - New Details for 'Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps - The Art of the Movie' Revealed
August 21st 2025 The upcoming artbook for the Marvel Studios' take on The Fantastic Four has gone through a series of updates since being revealed, from page count changes to a title change. Now though, we have more details on the mysterious second book, shining a light on what to expect in Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps - The Art of the Movie . Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps - The Art of the Movie placeholder cover The artbook is set for release on November 18th 2025, the only consistent detail so far other than the hefty price tag of $150. It was this price point that raised eyebrows, because that is very expensive for a collector's edition of a book, let alone the only version available. When first listed, it had a page count of 400, but was quickly knocked down to 256. It was moved up to 288 with the reveal of the second book, titled 'Portfolio' at the time, highlighting the reason for the second price increase. We now know after the recent update that this is fully titled, 'Future Foundation Portfolio'. As seen on retailer listings, it is given the following description; "From the desk of Dr. Reed Richards, this companion volume presents the film’s advanced technologies in meticulous detail, with blueprint-style schematics of the various gadgets, gizmos, and designs that bring the Fantastic Four’s world to life." This is an interesting addition, as it was previously described only as never-before-seen artwork, which applies to all of their books, so this clarifies what fans are getting. Schematics are a thematic inclusion, perfectly suited to First Steps , but brings up a point raised in my reporting when the second book was revealed , will this be the ongoing new format? If it were simply two artbooks, you could see it happening at the very least with each movie release, but perhaps not the shows. Schematics aren’t relevant to many entries in the MCU though, so will this be a one off, or will there be other inclusions that feature different content to suit each project? It will be interesting to find out when the next movie artbook is revealed. Above art by Ryan Meinerding There is no mention of the size of the book though, because although the details are clearly subject to change, as it currently stands this would be a small book. If they are sticking to their ongoing page cap of 224 for the artbook, then this portfolio book is only 64 pages, which for an additional $50 is hard to reasonably justify when comparing to other books on the market. Switching hats as a reporter of news to a consumer and reviewer, these details create a potential problem for buyers and sales. This second book isn’t one that comes with conventional concept art and while this may be of interest to some, others might not share this view. The $150 sticker shock being caused by a more niche volume could turn people away. This site and the collection here is focused on concept art books, but I am also curious to check out the portfolio book too, while fully acknowledging this view won’t be shared by everyone. People will be much less likely to buy it out of curiosity, or out of interest in one book over the other, when they can buy 3 new Dark Horse artbooks for the same price. I'm more intrigued than ever and want to see what the final details will be, but I still wonder why they haven't done a standalone book option as well as this slipcase set to make it accessible to more MCU fans. Top pages by artists Rodney Fuentebella and Thomas du Crest, bottom pages by Wesley Burt Despite these concerns, Marvel artbooks hit a lot more than they miss, offering incredible artwork from some of the best in the industry. The page design is always top notch and the insights from the artists, creators, and cast make for a fun read. So even if this book isn’t for you, or is too high a price, there are dozens to go back to and enjoy. We will never know the sales numbers of the books, but whether this format is used again or not will be a good indicator of its success. Previews were also recently released for the artbook as seen in this article. It's an unusual move for Marvel, but a great way to give people unfamiliar with the books an idea of what to expect. - Book Review: Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine: The Art of the Movie
February 3rd 2025 Deadpool & Wolverine was one of the biggest movies of 2024, bringing the two titular characters into the MCU officially for the first time. On paper, an artbook based on the movie is an easy win, Marvel Studios have been doing these a long time and the fanbase is huge, so did Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine: The Art of the Movie stick the superhero landing? This is a new format for the MCU artbooks, it’s just like the other books post Endgame, but now comes with a slipcase and lithographs. This is great news for fans of the older artbooks, that all came with slipcases and they were sorely missed. But, should we be careful what we wish for? That was wanted I wanted to find out and now present my thoughts here. As before, this is not an art review. I’m not an artist and so I’m in no position to critique these guys at all. This is all about the book and how it delivers the art to you. I’m personally a fan of the art from the teams at Marvel and own all the artbooks, so know that anything positive or negative here is not reflective of their work, you can decide if you like that yourself. For those interested, a video version of my YouTube review, posted last year, can be found here , or at the bottom of the page. Build Quality The book itself is like the others post Endgame, the size matches and comes with a hardcover, showcasing a wrap around piece of artwork. As always, the binding is good and the pages open well. Business as usual for Marvel then and that’s far from a bad thing. Onto the slipcase then, which is where this stands out against other recent releases and this is thick and sturdy. Some can be cheap and not protective, but like the older books, this is of a good quality. The artwork on the front is from Head of Visual Development, Andy Park. The lithographs are an interesting addition to me, while I don’t mind them typically, they have to be really good to warrant added value, but I’m not overly impressed with these. The print quality is good and they are almost as large in dimensions as the book, but the images on them aren’t huge, so it comes across as padding. Some people may love a print, but these feel only a little better than what you get for free at a local cinema for a big release. They come in a simple piece of folded card to keep them together. Content The book delivers what you expect from Marvel Studios; character art, world concepts, key art, weapons and more. Fans can be happy with what you get here. I’m always partial to a storyboard or early sketch, but they aren’t always included however, like in this book, though I’m more than happy with what is here, so I won’t hold that against it. The book follows the events of the movie, showing art, both used and unused throughout. My favourite parts are usually seeing what wasn’t used, so sections for things like the variants for Deadpool and Wolverine, costumes and cameos are great. They show not only what specific designs didn’t make it, but also characters entirely. As you would expect, it is character art heavy, but I knew that would be the case going in. There are some nice pages for Cassandra’s base inside of Ant-Man and the TVA though, as well as other aspects of the movie, so it still feels balanced. If you want the suits, variants, characters and cameos, you’ll get some superb stuff. While not everyone here can get lots of different iterations due to space, I’m happy for the most part with how they allocated more pages to some over others. I would have liked a little more from the team at the end, Blade gets some good pages, but more for the others would have been nice too. There is repetition in the poses of some characters, with changes to the costume design, that I know some find off-putting, so worth noting. I do think Marvels decision to cap the page count at 224 post-Endgame was a mistake. It works for some books, but with a large cast like this, I think going back to the early book pages counts, headed up to 350 in some cases, would have been really beneficial. A video flip through of the book from the YouTube channel. The text as always gives nice nuggets of info about the making of the movie, how it came together, artists thoughts and what was left out. It’s interesting without becoming a novel, I’ve always admired this about the Marvel Studios' books. Credits This book is continues the tradition of crediting the artists on every page and in the back. You can see below that they list all of the pages the artists are featured on too. There’s not much else to say, they always do this right and it should be the standard for all artbooks! Use of Space As has also become the norm from the Marvel Studios' artbooks, the pages are full. Nothing worse than blank space and you can never complain about an MCU artbook leaving huge gaps and wasting the pages. You get these books knowing they make the most of the space, so another positive for the book. Value My thoughts on this book are mixed, because this is where it unravels. Value is a big thing for me, as it should be for everyone. I was critical of the pricing of this book before its release, so was very curious to see if the slipcase and lithographs could justify the new big price jump. I’ll break it down by comparing it to other books released by Marvel in 2024, as they are all the same size with a maximum of 224 pages, just without the slipcase and prints. These were books for Wakanda Forever, Ms Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, Quantumania and only a month earlier, The Marvels. I’ll also use Amazon US to make the comparison fair too. At full price, these are $60, but you could pick up the earlier books for under $40 within a few months. This Deadpool and Wolverine artbook at full price is $100, shortly after release, only reduced down to $90 and around $80 at the time of posting this review. This is my issue, unless this will reduce significantly like some of the others, I struggle to see how a slipcase and lithographs equate to close to the same value as a 200 plus page book. Comparing at full price, it is a 66% increase, the same for the UK, Europe and possibly elsewhere. If you are looking to a buy a book right now, it’s an over 120% increase from the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 artbook, which released in the same year. The book is great, if this was like the others and released without the extras, I could recommend it without hesitation. Especially as Amazon often drops the price, or you may find better deals elsewhere. With the extras though, at this price, it’s harder to see the value. I like the slipcase, it’s of good quality, but despite this it still feels too much. The lithographs aren’t changing the game for me either. As I mentioned before, the early MCU artbooks had higher page counts and we are going back a long time, so inflation plays a factor. But as an example, lets compare this to the 2016 artbook for Doctor Strange and adjust for inflation. The book was larger, with over 100 pages more and a slipcase, but would still only be around £50 or $70 today. Here, there are less pages and the price is still much higher. Even compared to artbooks in general, this is a high price, usually reserved for limited edition versions of a book. Perhaps with an extra 50 pages it wouldn’t sting so much. Better yet, if this was a deluxe edition for big fans, with a solo book also available, then it would make more sense. But, this feels like it is needlessly pricing people out. Marvel don’t promote these book well, if ever. I believe if they did, they could all be best sellers and they wouldn’t need to pull a move like this, because it feels like they are taking advantage of dedicated fans. All upcoming artbooks with slipcases, including Agatha All Along, Thunderbolts* and Captain America: Brave New World, have this high price tag too. Verdict So after a rant about the price, what’s my verdict? If you’re a big collector, or a hardcore fan of the movie and characters, it’s a great book, but you are paying well for it. If you’re a more casual fan, or someone that’s more careful with their spending, it’s harder to recommend. The book could sell well and become tough to find, or it may end up reduced in the future like the others and then well worth buying. My recommendation of this book unfortunately comes down to how much free cash you have or what prices you can find online, which is a shame. It often feels bad to talk about money, especially with something like art, but I appreciate it’s tough out there for a lot of people and it’s an important factor to consider. It’s a very good book in every other regard, especially the quality of art, the unused ideas and how it highlights parts they knew fans would want most. - Warhammer Video Game Artbook Gets A New Title and Release Date
August 20th 2025 The upcoming artbook from DK based on Warhammer video games has had some updates, as spotted on retailer listings. Although there is now a little longer to wait, this hardcover will be perfect for fans wanting a look at the artwork behind multiple titles, including Space Marine 2 . Previously under the title of Warhammer Video Game Art, the upcoming artbook is now titled The Art of Warhammer Video Games , as reflected on both the websites of the publisher and retailers, but also temporary the cover art. This is interesting to note because the release is only a few months away, yet the final art is not yet known. You can see below the current cover, which as it stands is already well designed unlike many placeholders, so it may not change much, if at all. The release date has also changed, moving from November 4th to November 25th. This is a short delay by artbook standards and won't leave players waiting too long to add a copy to their shelf. The timing of the book isn't one of urgency either, as it isn't dedicated to a recent game like most, potentially putting less pressure on DK to publish the book until it is ready. The page count has also increased from 208 to 232, which is never a bad thing. The Art of Warhammer Video Games was originally unveiled in February on the Warhammer Community website here. Games Workshop is no stranger to merch, collectibles and books for its Warhammer franchise, but an artbook for video games released in this way is new, perhaps something they will continue for future game launches. While there have been artbooks in the past included in collector's editions, this upcoming standalone release will allow more player access Warhammer art and add it to their shelf. The most recent release confirmed for the book is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 , a follow up to the popular original that will also be included. Dawn of War will also appear, as well as the 'boomer-shooter' Boltgun , along with others featured on the cover. As noted though, the cover is not final, but the games seen are likely confirmations of the content inside. The book will feature more than 30 years of releases from their catalogue, one that covers a range of platforms and genres, from real-time strategy games, to action focused third and first-person titles. Expect a wealth of concept art, illustrations and developer insights into the games, perfect for both players and Warhammer fans in general. It goes without saying that Warhammer has an incredibly rich universe of history and lore, but one also full of interesting visual design that mixes fantasy and sci-fi in interesting ways. This makes it a very exciting book that will likely be on the wishlist of many. The site will be adding this to the collection here too, so as well as any future updates, you'll find previews and a review when it arrives on November 25th.
