The Cults Combine: Lost in Cult Have Revealed 'Cult of the Lamb: Design Works'

Lost in Cult are back with another entry in their Design Works book series that deliver in-depth looks at beloved gaming titles with artwork and interviews. Revealed last week, the next title is for those that follow The Lamb and game developer Massive Monster, with Cult of the Lamb: Design Works!
The book available for pre-order now and is expected to release in early 2027, delivering the development history and artwork of Cult of the Lamb, perfect for fans that don't want the indoctrination to end with just the game. The book features approximately 200 pages and comes as a softcover, with different options available on Lost in Cult's website.
The book is authored by Zoe Delahunty-Light who explores how the game came to fruition alongside interviews with the creators, as well as how Cult of the Lamb has continued to grow its following since its release in 2022 with multiple expansions. As with other releases in the Design Works series, this is not an artbook, but artwork and screenshots are featured heavily alongside the written text, covering all aspects of what it takes to bring life to this unique title. That means a look at the charming cartoon-style visuals seen throughout the game, even when cruelly sacrificing dissenters of your flock.
Continuing the tradition with the series, a Deluxe Edition is also available for £124.99 and can be ordered up until June 16th. This version includes the standard edition of Cult of the Lamb: Design Works with these added extras;

Knucklebones game
Fans will have noticed the physical Knucklebones set that is included in the Deluxe Edition, as it is a dice game within the world of Cult of the Lamb. This is also available to order separately for £39.99 and comes with dice, a playing board, and a dice tray, making it another great way to show your devotion to the Lamb with another physical release in your collection.

Cult of the Lamb is a humorous, yet dark, action roguelike that combines dungeon crawling, base-building, and cult management. You control the Lamb, who after being sacrificed, is brought back to life and tasked with building a loyal cult in the name of the deity that saved you. Massive Monster and publisher Devolver Digital released the game on August 11th 2022, winning over players with its distinctive art style, fast-paced combat, and strategy elements. It quickly became a commercial success, selling over one million copies within its first week and more than 3.5 million copies within its first year, as well as going on to win multiple awards.
