Video Preview - The Art of Toy Story 5

This week on The Artbook Collector YouTube channel is a newer release for the return of a childhood classic, with a look at the iconic toys in The Art of Toy Story 5!
The 160-page hardcover is once again made by Chronicle Books in partnership with Pixar and shares a look at their upcoming release Toy Story 5. It goes without saying that there are spoilers inside, but the book series for the studios animated pictures are released before the movies. In this case, The Art of Toy Story 5 hit shelves in the US on May 26th and in the UK on June 25th. A preview can be seen on the YouTube channel below.
The book features hundreds of images from the artists that worked on bringing the toys to life once again, including for the characters, locations, and storyboards. Pixar artists may have different styles, but they all capture the magic that makes their movies special, with this volume being no different. There is also a section of concepts for early iterations of the movie, giving an inside look at what could have been.
In my review I praised the physical quality of the book and how it presents the wonderful art, insights, and credits for each image. The book publisher also released another volume of art for Toy Story last year, with the small but dense book, The Color of Toy Story: A 30th Anniversary Celebration of Colorscripts and Creativity, and featured the colorscripts of the first 4 movies. This was a unique release that again captures the essence of Woody, Buzz, Jessie's adventures on the page.
