'The Art of Paul Bonner: Down from the Mountains' Delayed to November 2026

Fans of the wonderful artwork from Paul Bonner will have to wait a little longer for his next artbook release, as the two-volume book has been hit by a second delay, pushing The Art of Paul Bonner: Down From The Mountains to early November.
The release had already suffered an almost year long delay from October 2025 to September 1st 2026, but it is now expected on November 3rd 2026. The new date was spotted again on the website of the publisher Titan Books, but no public acknowledgement has been posted online, though this is normal in the artbook world.
The Art of Paul Bonner: Down from the Mountains will come with a huge 704 pages between two hardcover books that are collected in a slipcase as seen above. Inside, Paul Bonner's incredible fantasy artwork from 2008 until the present day will be given a showcase that it deserves. This also comes with notes and sketches from the artist too, so you can see the stages of the pieces as they came together.
A delay is hugely surprising, because Titan Books alone still has multiple art focused books set for release in September. Also on the 1st is Giger's Alien, The Art & Making of Highlander, and The Art of Endless Legend 2, with The Fifth Element: A Visual Retrospective and The Art of Betty & Veronica also coming the same month. Moving the book will give it more breathing room from these releases, and that's before considering multiple artbooks coming from other publishers in the same month.
The art was curated by Bonner himself and will share his work on multiple projects and IPs, such as Wizards of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering, CMON’s The Dead Keep, and more, giving fans a look at his career across a more than 15 year period. This will no doubt excite those that enjoy his style and the personality in the characters and creatures it carries, as well as artists that want a peak at his inspiration and sketches.
This is also not the first release from Paul Bonner, as in 2007 he released Out of the Forests: The Art of Paul Bonner, also with Titan Books, though this was significantly smaller at 176 pages. The new book set will pick up where this left off, continuing to highlight the talent of the award-winning artist and his contributions to some of the biggest IP in media.
