Pix'n Love have now officially announced their partner for the English version of the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 artbook, following its release in French last year. The translated version of the book comes by way of Udon Entertainment and is titled 'The Art of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33', giving more player a chance to enjoy the artwork behind the hit game.

The original book, 'L'art de Clair Obscur: Expedition 33', was released by Pix'n Love in December of 2025 in French and authored by Marine Macq, highlighting the artwork and insights from developer Sandfall Interactive for their award-winning RPG. At the time, they said they would be announcing partners for translated editions of the book, and while some were made for languages like Chinese and Spanish last year, players have been waiting patiently for the English edition. That reveal came on social media today from Pix'n Love and Udon, with the book set to arrive on November 25th 2026.
To add to the good news, not only is the 352-page standard edition being released, but the 'Alicia Collector's Edition' is as well, allowing fans to pick up a limited edition copy of the book. Like the original, it will include the following;
The Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 book featuring an exclusive cover illustration printed in Pantone Gold and a cardboard slipcase in Alicia’s colors.
A die-cut premium cardboard box.
A gold-colored metal medallion.
A cardboard folio containing 10 lithographs on textured paper.
An individually numbered metal plaque.
Dedicated packaging.
Both version will be available to pre-order on Monday, March 23rd, with US orders being handled by Udon Entertainment here, and European orders by Pix'N Love here. Pricing for the US is not yet available, with copies in Europe coming in at €39.90 for the standard edition and €89,90 for the Alicia Collector's Edition.

This is fantastic news for people that have been waiting eagerly for their chance to add a copy of the book to their shelf and it will no doubt be the most popular version of the book. It is odd this wasn't ready sooner and still won't be released until almost a year after the French edition, but the artbook looks fantastic, so will be worth the wait for those wanting more from the game.
There are things to take note of though, due to how it is being released. In the US or Canada, ordering from Udon means a delivery that is not outside of the norm, as they are based in America. However, those in Europe must order from Pix'n Love, who are based in France, and this will add steep delivery costs.
Having ordered The Art of Jusant: The Great Expedition for the collection here last year, I was hit with a shipping cost of €20.66/ £17.92, which was half the price of the book. That is to ship to the UK that is just a stones throw away, it could be more now based on rising costs alone, but also more depending on where people are based and which version you pre-order. Udon typically sell their books at retailers, including Amazon, so this is an odd approach that will sting players for more money and limit stock, as seen with the French version that completely sold out.
Despite the potential shipping costs, this is a book to get excited about, as the game itself has stunning visuals and made it the perfect release to get the artbook treatment. Pix'n Love have released artbooks in the past that were also authored by Marine Macq, although the text came in both English and French. The Art of Dordogne and The Art of Jusant: The Great Expedition were excellent artbooks, putting this look at Expedition 33 in safe hands.
