Book Cover Revealed for 'The Art of Toy Story 5'

The iconic animated movie series returns with Toy Story 5 in June, dropping fans back into the world of our favourite toys. As is tradition, an artbook is also on the way from Chronicle Books, but although revealed back in September, The Art of Toy Story 5 didn't have any cover art, until now!
The new cover, seen above, has appeared on retailer listings ahead of the book's release date of May 26th 2026. It depicts Jessie, Bullseye, and a new character seemingly riding a horse, created in an almost oil pastel style commonly seen in Toy Story artwork. As always, it captures personality and expression of the characters in the image, something the artists that have worked at Pixar have mastered.
This is a late reveal for cover art, which is typically available more than a couple of months away from a release. Being just a few weeks out raised reasonable concern that a delay could be incoming, but fortunately that is not the case and those that love Toy Story will be able to jump into the artwork before the movie hits the big screen on June 19th.
Toy Story is now 30 years old, making it a series of movies that many people, including myself, have grown up with and enjoyed into adulthood. Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the toys are a multigenerational cast of beloved characters, so there will no doubt be many people interested in adding artwork for the latest adventure to their shelf.
Pixar and Chronicle Books have a huge catalogue of artbooks together, each filled with stunning artwork that create the magic of the characters and worlds you see on screen.
