More artbooks are always around the corner, so as we move on from February, let's look ahead at the books coming out over the next month. March delivers a trifecta of artbooks for animation, video games, and comic books, each based on iconic characters and worlds!
3rd - SpongeBob SquarePants: The Art of an Undersea World
SpongeBob fans get to soak in the art from the history of Bikini Bottom and its eclectic mix of characters, from the early drawings for the show to the latest movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Throughout are insights from the creators and even some drawing guides.
Those screaming "I'm ready!" don't have long to wait to see the art behind one of the most popular cartoons of all time in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Art of an Undersea World!
3rd - Castlevania: Nocturne--The Art of the Animated Series
Dark Horse partner again with Powerhouse Animation Studios to bring the art behind the Castlevania animated series to life, this time for the follow up series Nocturne. The hardcover features over 200 pages art of concepts and designs for the Netflix show, matching the size of the artbook for the original series.
Castlevania: Nocturne--The Art of the Animated Series arrives on the 3rd for those that enjoyed Richter Belmont's story and the first book.
3rd - Elden Ring Official Art Book Volume III (English Edition)
After a some set back, the English edition of Elden Ring Official Art Book Volume III is finally arriving on the third from publisher Udon Entertainment. Although it took over a year to arrive after the Japanese original, this version comes as a hardcover. It will still feature the same artwork though, coming with 320 pages.
Inside players will be treated to the art of the game's DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, covering all aspects of the new content in this third volume. Those that are interested in the book can order it here;
31st - The Marvel Art of Tyler Kirkham (US)

Clover Press has two releases currently lined up for March 31st after successful Kickstarter campaigns. The first is The Marvel Art of Tyler Kirkham and will showcase the artists work at Marvel Comics for characters including Venom, Moon Knight, Spider-Man, and the X-Men. Over 200 pages of art will be featured in the premium hardcover, one that comes with red gilded edges to match the others in the series.
The UK release date is currently unknown as listings are limited or have the book as unavailable, but they typically arrive a month or two later.
31st - The Marvel Art of Mike Del Mundo (US)
*May 14th in the UK
The second book from Clover Press is The Marvel Art of Mike Del Mundo that will shine the spotlight on Del Mundo's creative and often surreal artwork. He has worked on comic lines including Uncanny X-Men, Immortal Hulk, and The Vision, with some of his best work shared in this new hardcover release.
The UK release date is showing as May 14th, as well as in France, but can vary elsewhere depending on where you look. Those outside of the publisher's home country might want to check their local bookstore for a release date if interested in this upcoming release.
