'Marvel vs. Capcom: Ultimate Complete Works' Announced by Udon Entertainment

With San Diego Comic-Con underway and bringing news and surprises for video games, movies, comic books and more, it only feel right that an artbook should be revealed at some point too. Enter publisher Udon Entertainment, with a rerelease of their book Marvel vs. Capcom: Official Complete Works.
Now boasting a 8.25" x11.75" hardcover and over 140 additional pages, Marvel vs. Capcom: Ultimate Complete Works is not only making the book available to buy again after a decade, but improving on it too. It will allow fans to see the artwork behind multiple titles from Capcom across a total of 336 pages. Inside readers will find sketches, illustrations, marketing art, tributes and more for the fighting series. The book is expected to begin shipping in November 2025 with pre-orders expected to go live soon with retailers.

Bison from artist Panzer, as well as 6 enamel pins from Jeffrey 'Chamba' Cruz that features Captain America, Spider-Man, Mega Man, Captain Commando, Iron Man, and Morrigan. This is the perfect chance for those that missed out on the original release to pore over the large amount of artwork created for the series, especially newer players of the games. The Marvel vs. Capcom series is a long-running fighting game franchise from developer Capcom that dates back to 1996. It combines characters from their own series that includes Street Fighter, Mega Man, and Resident Evil, with iconic Marvel Comics heroes and villains like Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Iron Man. It began with X-Men vs. Street Fighter that was released in arcades before being ported to consoles and featured the tag-team mechanics that would help define the franchise.
This was then followed by Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter (1997), Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes (1998), Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (2000), Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (2011), and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite (2017). The series' fast-paced gameplay and large rosters made them fan favourites with launches on multiple platforms, from arcade machines to PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
