After teasing the official announcement on social media, publisher Cook and Becker have now unveiled their latest artbook, Into the Glade of Dreams: The Art and Design of Rayman, a look back at the history of the iconic video game character and his series of games. The book is being made in partnership with fellow publisher and book designer Lost in Cult, and of course the developer of Rayman, Ubisoft.

Expected to ship in Fall 2026, the 250-page hardcover will dive into the now 30 year history of Rayman and his friends, from the earliest designs of the character, through to the last release, Rayman Legends from 2013. It will feature the sketches and pixelated look of his origin, through to the colourful HD worlds seen in his latest outings, giving fans a look the growth and development of the characters and universe the teams have created.
As well as artwork, there are insights and anecdotes from the talented people that worked on bringing the series to life, telling the history of one of gaming's most recognisable mascots and the friends that have joined him along the way. You can place an order for the book on the Cook and Becker website here.

Two version of Into the Glade of Dreams: The Art and Design of Rayman are available to pre-order, a Standard Edition at $54.95, and a Collector's Edition for those that want to splash out on some extra features for $149.
This Collector's Edition comes with a slipcase that you can see below with detachable feet so it can be stood up and displayed for all to see. It also boasts a concept art print with a holder to display this as well. The interesting feature here is the inclusion of magnets for 7 characters that can be placed on the slipcase ring, allowing you to display them how you like. The Collector's Edition can be seen below.

The original Rayman was released on the Atari Jaguar, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and MS-DOS in 1995 from Ubisoft. This game was later rereleased on more platforms, but more importantly, it marked the start of the series that went on to launch 4 more mainline titles, as well as creating the Raving Rabbids spin-off games too.
Rayman's unique limbless design with floating hands and feet make him a visual stand-out, matched only by the fun and colourful designs of the world he finds himself in, alongside the characters and enemies within it. If you have played a Rayman game, you are already familiar with the charm of the character and the fantastic level design from the developers, all of which makes it perfect to receive the artbook treatment.

Publisher Cook and Becker is no stranger to video game artbooks, having released Killzone Visual Design, The Art of Still Wakes The Deep, and more, in the past. They are also set to release WORLD OF TANKS. Journey Through Art at the end of this month. Also working on the book is Lost in Cult, a publisher themselves, but also a studio that works on the designs of other artbooks. They recently announced Cocoon: Design Works, a look at the development of the world-hopping puzzle hit.
