Video Preview - The Art of KPop Demon Hunters

This week on The Artbook Collector YouTube channel is a preview of the new hardcover release that gives fans a look at the art and designs behind the global hit, KPop Demon Hunters. Now available through a wider retail release, The Art of KPop Demon Hunters is now here so you can get the songs stuck in your head all over again!
The 144-page hardcover version, also known as the Platinum Edition, was released on August 8th, 2026 by Del Rey. Prior to this, a free digital edition was shared online, which was then followed by a softcover edition from Gallery Nucleus through their website. This new release makes the book more widely available, with the benefit of being a hardcover, which is better for book preservation. Check out a preview of the new book below.
Inside is a look at the concept art for the characters, locations, demons, keyframes, and more, as well as storyboards for some of the scenes. A look at Rumi, Mira, and Zoey are of course shared throughout, from their initial looks, to the outfits they wear too. It follows the order of the movie, giving readers a look at the mix of styles from the art team that came together to create the colourful world of both Tokyo and home of the demons. As well as this, interviews with the creative team detail the scenes and approaches to the designs.
My review for the book was very positive, highlighting that the artwork is spectacular and presented wonderfully. The book is also well-made and comes can already be bought with deep discounts too if you look around, which makes it very easy to recommend for people wanting more after the credits roll. KPop Demon Hunters is an animated fantasy movie and musical created by Sony Pictures Animation. It was released on Netflix on June 20, 2025 and became their most-watched original film ever, crossing 325 million views in the first 90 days, and has since crossed 650 million views. It follows K-pop band HUNTR/X, made up of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, who use their music and fighting skills to protect the world from demons. The anime-inspired film went on to win many awards, including two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for the 'Golden'. It's blend of Korean culture, stunning animation, and hit original songs made it a huge success, none of which is possible without the artwork shared in this book.
