Video Preview - Spider-Man: Brand New Day - The Art of the Movie

On The Artbook Collector YouTube channel this week is a preview of a highly anticipated book based on the record-breaking return of Peter Parker with Spider-Man: Brand New Day – The Art of the Movie!
The Marvel published book features 208 pages of early artwork and designs for the return of Spider-Man, covering most of his new story that also includes Punisher and Hulk. The book was released today (August 18th, 2026) and will be a highly sought after book given the huge success of the movie. You can watch the preview below.
Inside is a look at the concept art for the costumes, characters, locations, technology, key frames, and more, highlighting the designs that were considered early in development. It's worth noting that Sadie Sink's character and any scene she is included in, as well as the third act, are not included. This is a first for a Marvel artbook, likely to avoid spoilers.
In my review of the book, I once again praised the artwork that is superb as always from the former Visual Development team, as well as other contributing artists led by Ryan Meinerding. Unfortunately, the exclusion of pivotal characters and moments makes this volume feel incomplete, and the reduction in the number of pages does leave some sections lighter than expected. The next upcoming artbook for the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday - The Art of the Movie, which currently has no release date following a delay. No other books are currently listed, but it is expected they will at least run until Avengers: Secret Wars, but beyond that is up for speculation as the next phase of the MCU begins.
Titan Books is also still releasing reprints of the Infinity Saga artbooks, with the most recent announcement being Marvel Studios' The Infinity Saga - Captain Marvel: The Art of the Movie. This is the perfect series for newer fans and those that missed out on the original releases, allowing you to go back and enjoy the concept art for 22 of the movies.
