'The Art of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty' Delayed Again to April 2026

In another delay from publisher Udon Entertainment, The Art of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has missed its January release date, leaving players outside of Japan waiting longer to get their hands on the book.
Originally set for release in June 2024, the 192-page hardcover was pushed back a couple of times and given a new January publication date. However, this has been changed again, only noticed when checking retailer listings online, who now show a release date of April 14th 2026.
The reason that artbooks can be hard to track and easily missed is because delays are rarely announced publicly, so without a statement from Udon, its hard to say when this happened. For full transparency, manual checks happen fairly often, but different retailers update listings at different times, so it can be very difficult to catch them as they happen, as you will see today on this site with multiple delays reported.
The new date for The Art of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was confirmed Amazon US and Barnes and Noble, who were both used to confirm the last delay too. Yet again in the UK, retailers are still showing the old date, with the UK Amazon showing the book as unavailable since it missed its November 2024 release. Expect websites to eventually catch up with the latest update and emails to be received soon if you have pre-ordered the book.
The upcoming artbook will showcase the concept art and character profiles for the dark-fantasy RPG, perfect for those wanting to see how the art team crafted its world. Inside is a look at the characters, world, enemies, weapons, and more for the game. This new version will not only be readable for more players, but also comes as a hardcover, which is much better for preservation.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was developed by Team NINJA and released on March 3rd 2023, winning fans over with its 'Soulslike' gameplay and parry-based combat. It is set in 184CE, during the collapse of the Han Dynasty, but adds a demonic fantasy twist on top of its historical setting. In 2023 the game had sold over 1 million units and has since passed more than 5 million players.
