Grasshopper Interactive's Romeo is a Deadman brought the strange and over the top story and gameplay people have come to expect from the mind of Goichi "Suda51" Suda. The sci-fi game is now getting some extra love, in the form of an artbook titled The Art of Romeo is a Deadman.

The book was announced on social media on June 24th by Grasshopper Manufacture, also revealing the cover art seen above. It is set to feature artwork for the characters and environments as any good artbook should, but is also noted as including 2D comic scenes as well.
Hoever, in a reply to the post, they did add the following; "By the way - and this should've been included in the original tweet (my bad) - this art book will be a digital release; we didn't want to mislead anyone!"
This is always a shame for collectors, as nothing beats the feeling and quality of having a book in your hands, but it's good that it was clarified. Little else is known about the book, which includes the page count, price, and how it will be sold, but the developer said more details are to come soon. They did however share a couple of images with a peak at the pages and an environment art piece as seen below.
Romeo is a Dead Man is a violent sci-fi action game from Grasshopper Manufacture that give players the control of Romeo Stargazer, a half-dead FBI agent that is trapped between life and death after a catastrophic event. He travels through time taking on criminals using high-tech weapons and strange abilities. The game's hack-and-slash combat, dark humour, and visual style, make it another unique title in the developers catalogue, on that many will be happy to get lost in again through as artbook.
Future updates about The Art of Romeo is a Deadman will be reported here as they happen, and be sure to head over to the News section of the site to stay up to date on other announcements.
