'The Art of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' Gets a New Release Date

The upcoming artbook for Marvel Studios Animation's Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has had its release date updated, pushing it further into the summer. The good news is, it is just a small delay and it is still expected in June 2026.
The Art of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was first revealed in September 2025 and has already been delayed once before. Like that time, this new change only moves it back by one week, with the book now expected to hit shelved on June 23rd 2026.
The upcoming title from Abrams Books still has no official cover art, which is isn't uncommon for Marvel artbooks, but the closer to its release we get without one, the higher the chance that there will be another delay. Typically, if there is no cover art just a month or two out, the date will be moved back, so expect a future update to either of these soon.
The Art of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will feature concept art, storyboards, animation cels, and more for the series, giving fans a lot of material to pore over. Insights will also be shared by creative team behind the show for added details on how the this take on Spider-Man was created.
Abrams Books are the publisher behind the animated artbooks from Marvel Studios, which includes The Art of Marvel Studios’ What If...? from August of 2024 and X-Men ’97: The Art and Making of the Animated Series from July 2025. No news has yet been revealed about future releases from the publisher, including the long overdue artbooks for What If...? seasons 2 and 3, if they will get one that is.
