The upcoming look at Amplitude Studios' strategy game Endless Legend 2 has received another setback, giving players a little bit longer to wait to get their hands on a copy of the book. The good news is that this time the delay for The Art of Endless Legend 2 is only a short one and players can get lost in the art and designs very soon.

Spotted on the website of the publisher Titan Books, the 240-page hardcover is now due for release on September 15th, 2026, two weeks after it was last set to hit shelves on the 1st. The volume of artwork has been pushed back a few times now after being originally announced to arrive in December 2025, but is now less than two months away.
The Art of Endless Legend II will feature concept art and illustrations for the factions, units, battle scenes, locations of Saiadha, and more, all alongside insights from the developer. The previous book, The Art of Endless Legend, came out in December 2024 and marked the game's 10th anniversary, but it didn't take that long for a look at Endless Legend 2 to be revealed. You can see a preview of the first book below to get an idea of what to expect.
The reason for the delay as always is unknown, not publicly acknowledged by the publisher other than the updated listing. It is worth noting that September 1st is heavy with releases for the Titan Books, even after other titles have already been moved. There are still four non-fiction books being released on that date, including the artbooks Giger's Alien and The Art & Making of Highlander, which could be the reason for the date push.
This isn't the only artbook on the way for the Endless Universe, as on March 2nd, 2027, The Art of Endless Space arrives from Titan Books with 224 pages of early artwork for that game as well. This is the first release Endless Space, which becomes 25 years old in 2027 and makes it an exciting book for long time fans.

While delays are never good news, this short set back will be worth the wait if The Art of Endless Legend is anything to go by. Not knowing what to expect from a 4X strategy game's artbook allowed the artwork created by the team at Amplitude Studios to pleasantly surprise me. The fanstasy concepts and illustration for the factions are superb, with the depictions of moments and battles creating more variety than I was expecting.
Future updates for the Endless Universe artbooks will be reported here and both upcoming releases will also be joining the collection, so expect reviews when they become available. If interested in the books, you can order them below;
