Sink Your Teeth into 'The Blood of Dawnwalker: The Art of the Game' Sooner Than Expected

There is good news for those that are excited for developer Rebel Wolves' debut game The Blood of Dawnwalker, because the upcoming artbook has received a surprising update. Players will be able to get lost in the concepts and designs found in The Blood of Dawnwalker: The Art of the Game a month earlier than initially planned, as the book will now hit shelves in October.
The release date was updated on retailer listings, including the website of the publisher Titan Books, which revealed that it is has been brought forward from the end of November to October 27th, 2026. This is a welcome update, especially as the publishing world is often full of delays, with artbooks frequently suffering. The sooner the better with artbooks, and with the game launching in early September, people won't have to wait too long to pore over the artwork that helped create it.
The Blood of Dawnwalker: The Art of the Game arrives as a 192-page hardcover with an RRP of $50 in the US, and £39.99 in the UK. It's listed as being 301mm x 228mm, in the same range as most artbooks, making it an oversized volume and perfect for sharing the details of the artist's work. It will feature hundreds of images, from early concepts to final designs for the characters, locations, and creatures of its 14th-century setting, as well as interviews with the creatives at Rebel Wolves.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is set to release on September 3rd and was created by former Witcher developers, making it a highly anticipated RPG given the experience at the studio. The game sees you play as Coen, a vampire in 14th-century Europe that is filled with beasts and creatures, as well as helpless people to feed on. It also gives you 30 in-game days to complete the story, but allows for exploration of its world without that countdown while not completing quests. It will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X as the first game from Rebel Wolves, so it's nice to see them commit early to giving a title the artbook treatment.
