Clover Press Launches 'The DC Art of Michael Turner' on Kickstarter

Clover Press have begun their latest Kickstarter campaign after a reveal in May for The DC Art of Michael Turner, the third book in the DC series that showcases portfolios of incredible artwork. The late great Michael Turner is the focus this time, and fans can now back the project to secure a copy of the book with some exclusive extras.
As expected, the funding goal of $10,000 for the book has already been surpassed and is five times what was needed withing two hours of going live, making this another hugely successful release for the publisher. This will continue to increase for sometime as seen with the other books, securing a retail release at a later date. Like the books that came before for both the 'DC Art of' and 'Marvel Art of' volumes, this comes as a 9" x 12" hardcover with over 200 pages of artwork and a spot gloss cover, delivering a high-quality collection of artwork for collectors. This is also not the first time Clover Press have featured the artist, because it follows their earlier release The Marvel Art of Michael Turner, making this collectible as part of a pair and the DC series.
The Kickstarter campaign once again offers exclusive extras that will not be available at retail, including a Dustjacket Edition, a Slipcase Editions, art prints, stickers, and more. Extras can also be purchased as add-ons for any of the tiers, so you don't have to buy larger bundles to get the options you'd prefer.
A standard copy of the book will set you back $75 or your countries equivalent, with a dustjacket edition coming in at $85 and a slipcase version setting you back $100. Other options include multiple copies, add-ons, and more, with Clover Press making the full use of Kickstarter's ability to offer more to fans than just a book. The estimated shipping date for those that back The DC Art of Michael Turner is December 2026 and the full retail release will arrive sometime later.
Another big hit from Clover Press continues to show that they are giving fans what they want with their comic book artist focus releases, feeding fans with an appetite for premium art showcases. This the case for the previous two entries in the series, The DC Art of Jorge Jiménez and The DC Art of Bruno Redondo, with no doubt more coming in the future. Their Marvel series ended its campaign for its 10th book not long ago, which will see The Marvel Art of Mike Zeck being sold by retailers in the future.
