Another new release joins The Artbook Collector YouTube channel, with a look at the art behind the wall-crawler in his early years in The Art of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man!
The book was released on June 23rd 2026 by Abrams Books in partnership with Marvel Animation, and comes as a 240-page hardcover volume. It covers the first season of the show through art and insights from the creatives behind Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. You can see the preview of the book below.
Fans of the show can find the early explorations for the show from the art tea, as well as a huge amount of suit designs for Spider-Man himself. Other characters also get space dedicated to their look, including Daredevil and Scorpion. Throughout is artwork for the characters, locations, and set dressing, giving readers a full look at the talent of the team. Alongside this is a history of the show and insights into the designs and episodes, making it the perfect companion to the first season.

This is not the first time that Marvel Animation and Abrams Books have worked together, as seen last year with X-Men '97: The Art and Making of the Animated Series, a look at the return of the iconic cartoon. Prior to this they also published The Art of Marvel Studios’ What If...?, but have not released another since sharing a look at the first season of the show.
