Upcoming WondLa Artbook Now Coming in December

The artbook for the Apple TV+ series WondLa (also known as The Search for WondLa) has been pushed to a later release date, as spotted on the website of its publisher Titan Books.

WondLa: The Art & Making of the Limited Series will give readers a look at work of the team that helped bring the animated show to life. The series premiered in 2024, but fans have a little longer to wait now see its early art and get the creator's insights after a delay. Originally set to hit shelves in October, the book is now coming on December 2nd 2025.

The 176-page hardcover will include concept art, sketches, and 3D models for the characters and world of series. The foreword is provided by the creator of the book is based on, Tony DiTerlizzi, as well as giving further insights alongside the creators of the show throughout the book.

WondLa follows Eva 9, a teenage girl raised isolated in a bunker by her robot caretaker, MUTHR. However, after being forced to head to the surface, she discovers the world is not just very different to what she was expecting, but also inhabited by an alien species.

Season 2 was released in April of this year, continuing the story of Eva based on the trilogy of best-selling books from DiTerlizzi.

Previews are available online that show a heavy focus on the art, with credits given on the pages for the artists too. As noted in the book description, you can see it will have art for the characters, environments and creatures of WondLa. Check out some of the page previews below.
