After revealing the book last month, Clover Press have now launched their Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming book featuring the stunning art of Mike Del Mundo. This is the 8th entry in the publishers ongoing 'Marvel Art of' series that focuses on some of the biggest names in the comic book industry.
The Marvel Art of Mike Del Mundo can be backed on the crowdfunding platform and despite launching in just the last few hours at the time if writing this, it has already obliterated its finding goal with hundreds of backers. This means the book will be going into full production and will be released later at retail, becoming another successful campaign for Clover Press with each previous book passing their goal in a similar fashion. Fans wanting to secure their own copy can do so until the Kickstarter ends on Friday September 5th by visiting the page here - Kickstarter page.
Below is a look at the standard edition, the Dustjacket Edition and the Slipcase Edition;
Like before, the book comes as a premium 9" x 12" hardcover with over 200 pages of art, a spot gloss cover, red gilded edging and a cloth bookmark. Keeping it in the same format makes this part of a collectable set, but is also a high quality way to present the work of Del Mundo, giving it the showcase it deserves. It will include his creative and striking artwork for Spider-Man, Elektra, X-Men, Venom, and more.
As with the other artbooks in the series, there are multiple tier options available for The Marvel Art of Mike Del Mundo, with additional extras for those interested.
Some of the options are as follows;
A standard copy of the book - $75
A dustjacket edition - $85
A slipcase edition - $100
A signed slipcase edition + stickers - $155
A signed slipcase edition + sketchbook - $235

As well as bundles, add-ons can also be bought when backing the project too, which includes the sketchbook, prints, stickers, additional copies of the book, a puzzle, and more. Clover Press continue to impress with their available options for the series, making full use of the Kickstarter platform. I previously interviewed Publisher Hank Kanalz about using the platform and why they like it, which you can find here - Hank Kanalz Interview.
The book is estimated to ship in March 2026 and as previously mentioned, the standard edition of book will also go into full production to be sold at retail. But to get the exclusive Slipcase and Dustjacket versions and other extras, as well as getting the book first, be sure to take advantage of the campaign.

Since debuting with Marvel Comics in 2010, Mike Del Mundo has brought his distinctive style to acclaimed series such as Uncanny X-Men, Immortal Hulk, X-Men Legacy, and The Vision. Renowned for his superb covers as well as his work on interiors, Del Mundo’s portfolio spans a vast range of titles, each marked by his bold colour choices and inventive, often surreal, compositions. Beyond Marvel, he is currently collaborating with Jonathan Hickman and Mike Huddleston on the 3 Worlds / 3 Moons universe for the creator-owned platform Substack. His unmistakable artistic style and imaginative approach make him perfect for an artbook showcase.
Clover Press are on a fantastic run with this series, creating shelf-worthy artbooks for some of the greatest artists in comic books. To get a taste of what to expect, check out a flip through of a previous entry, The Marvel Art of Alex Maleev below.
