Cursed with endless delays, The Art of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has been pushed back again, just before its release. After being confirmed for a June 23rd release less than a month ago, it has now been delayed into July by publisher Udon Entertainment.

There's little to say that I haven't already said many times when reporting on delays for this English edition of the book, which has happened now six times since starting this website 18 months ago, with the last delay being reported in May. The look at the dark-fantasy RPG in English from Team NINJA was originally due in June 2025, but is now coming on July 7th 2026, as confirmed on multiple retail websites, including Amazon US.
This delay was only spotted because I was expecting the book to be arriving here this week, as it was due out today. However, when the retailer listing had it listed with no stock, I knew it was likely the case it was delayed again, which was confirmed by US retailers that are often ahead of those here in the UK. Because of this and no word from the publisher, it's hard to know when this happened, but it was certainly recently. This was a little more surprising than most though, because in May, Udon Entertainment finally acknowledged the book on social media and gave it a date, as seen below.
Fans have been more than a little patient with this book, but delays like this will only impact sales. The gaming space is oversaturated, which means that outside of its dedicated fans, most players are less likely to invest in a book for a now three year old game. The Japanese original from Kadokawa was published in July 2023, just four months after the game launched, coming at a much more ideal time. This is a longer time gap than most for translated editions, even when compared to Udon's other releases that includes books for Elden Ring.
Fingers crossed this is the last set back for The Art of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and when it does arrive I will share a review for those that are interested in adding a copy to your own collection. Any news or updates will continue to be reported here and you can pre-order the book below;
