This release will make for the perfect companion to the show that highlights the visual aesthetic that sets is apart in the TMNT franchise.
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 2D animated series that aired on Nickelodeon from 2018 to 2020. It followed everyone's favourite mutant turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo as they discover their new ninja powers. Living in the sewers of New York, the brothers form a group called the 'Mad Dogs' and join forces with April O’Neil to uncover the city’s hidden magical realms.
The reboot came with a comedic tone and shorter episode format. Fans of the series have praised this new take on the TMNT for its kinetic animation and character-driven storytelling. The animation was provided by Flying Bark Productions, with Nickelodeon Animation Studios producing the show. A movie was also released in 2022 on Netflix.
IDW Publishing have been releasing single issue comics and books for TMNT for some time, with a lot on offer on their website, so if you're a fan and are looking for more from the pizza-loving turtles, visit their site here. The publisher also released comic books based on the show in 2018 and 2019.
