'The Art of Paul Bonner: Down from the Mountains' Now Arrives in 2027

The adventure from production to shelves of Paul Bonner's upcoming release has taken another detour, as it has sadly been delayed again. The two-volume artbook set The Art of Paul Bonner: Down From The Mountains was due to arrive in November, but has been pushed into 2027.
It has been a perilous journey for the massive 704-page set, because it was first due in October 2025, until being pushed to late this year. A second delay moved it into November, but now there has been another setback, as confirmed on the website of the publisher Titan Books, which has given it a new release date of March 2nd, 2027.
Delays are commonplace in the artbook world, but some titles do suffer more than others, with The Art of Paul Bonner: Down from the Mountains being one of them. For fans though, it will be worth the wait to see Bonner's incredible fantasy artwork, with this collection highlighting his work from 2008 onwards. This includes early sketches that show how the art comes together, as you can see below.
The artwork covers Bonner's work on multiple projects and franchises, including Magic: The Gathering, The Dead Keep, and his collaborations with Games Workshop. His incredible frame-worthy paintings capture incredible detail, simultaneously being grounded and yet fantastical in their character designs. Fans of the artist, or even fantasy artwork in general, will find a lot to pore over across the two-volumes when it arrives next year.
This release also acts as a follow up to Out of the Forests: The Art of Paul Bonner, which collected artwork up until 2007, with this new set picking up from there until present day. That book was 176 pages, making Down from the Mountains a big size increase, much to the delight of those interested in adding it to their collection.
