'The Art of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach' Delayed to Early 2026

The upcoming artbook to the critically acclaimed game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has unfortunately been delayed. Fans of the open world game from Kojima Productions were expecting The Art of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach in just over a month, but the publisher Titan Books has moved it back in their release schedule.
The delay has been confirmed on their website, which now shows the book as coming on February 17th 2026, a 3 month push from its original release date. The 256-page book is being published in partnership with the game's developer and was revealed on the 26th of April. The last update for the book revealed the official cover, which you can see below.
As mentioned in the Artbook News Roundup for September, I was informed that a delay may be coming, which has now sadly happened. No reason has been given, often the case for artbooks as they happen quietly and under the radar. Often the only way to know is to keep checking listings manually, or by receiving an email from your retailer of choice if you pre-ordered the book. Set backs can happen due a large list of reasons, so it's impossible to guess as to what caused this one.
The upcoming hardcover features the concept art for the game, with industry veteran Yoji Shinkawa lending his talent to a Kojima game yet again, having previously worked on the Metal Gear Solid series. Expect to see the art for the characters, weapons, vehicles, technology, environments, and the enemies of the game. The Art of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has an RRP of $40/ £30, a lower price than many artbooks on the market and that's great news for players wanting more from the game's world.
The first artbook for the series, The Art of Death Stranding, was released in 2020 and comes in the same format as the sequel book. To get an idea of what to expect in the upcoming release, check out a preview below for that release.
Hopefully this will be the last update for the book before it is now released on February 17th, as this will no doubt be filled with incredible artwork and designs.
