Back with yet another video game artbook, Dark Horse has partnered with Bethesda again for a peak behind the curtain of the 2023 RPG, Starfield.
Starfield Visual Compendium will give players a look at the art behind the game, along with insights from the art director, Istvan Pely. It comes with 192 pages and in the 9" x 12" hardcover format that Dark Horse publishes the vast majority of their artbooks in. It is set for release on September 16th of this year and has an RRP of $59.99.

As with previous artbooks from Bethesda Game Studios, including The Art of Fallout 4, you can anticipate concept art for the characters, weapons, enemies, environments, gear and more for the game.
Starfield is the first new series from Bethesda Game Studios in 25 years and follows in the footsteps of the hugely popular series Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Like those game, it is a large scale action role-playing game, but this time has players venturing into space. It takes place in the 24th Century and includes over a 1000 planets, with a mix of handcrafted environments and procedural generation.
Bethesda and the studios it owns have a strong history with artbooks, so this announcement should come as no surprise to collectors. With the aforementioned book The Art of Fallout 4 being one of them, other series that have had the artbook treatment include DOOM, Wolfenstein, Dishonored and The Evil Within, all of which are also published by Dark Horse.
Future updates will be reported on this website and those interested can pre-order Starfield Visual Compendium here;
