The preview on The Artbook Collector YouTube channel this week is a look at the return of the city of Zootopia, Rudy, and Nick in The Art of Zootopia 2!

Disney and Chronicle Books return with a look at the art behind another movie from Disney Animated Studios, adding to their ever-growing catalogue when this book releases November 18th. The 172-page hardcover features a collection of character designs, location art, keyframes, storyboards, and more! All of this is alongside descriptions and insights from the teams behind the movie, including Director Byron Howard, Art Director Meg Park, and Editor Jeremy Milton.

It goes without saying that the book contains spoilers for the movie, not just because of this early look, but because the releases from Chronicle Books for Disney Animated Studios and Pixar come out before the movies hit the big screen. This is great as it means you can jump right in after the credits have rolled, but does mean that looking too soon can give away plot points.

Zootopia 2 is set for release on November 26th and sees the return of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they jump into an undercover mission to find a new visitor to the city, a mysterious snake. Together they visit new corners of Zootopia, uncovering conspiracies as it becomes clear things aren't quite what they expected. It follows the first Zootopia movie from 2016, a gigantic hit at the time, making this a highly anticipated sequel and no doubt making this a popular book too.
