On the The Artbook Collector YouTube channel this week is a preview of the The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte, the latest artbook from publisher Abrams Books!

After 4 years without an artbook, the live-action Star Wars projects are showcasing their concept art again, starting with this release on February 3d 2026. Fans of The Acolyte may not get to enjoy another season, but a look at the concepts and design for the show can now be added to their shelves.

Early and unused art for the characters, ships, locations, key moments, and more are shared by the team at Lucasfilm, highlighting the talent of the artists and the designs that didn't make it to the screen. Alongside this are interviews with the show runners, actors, and artists to add more insights behind the High Republic's live-action debut.

The review of the book was very positive, because it not only delivered exceptional art as expected for for a Star Wars release, but the book is well-made, the page design uses the full space of the page, the interviews offer a lot of details, and the artists and credited on every page.
