Another preview is up on The Artbook Collector YouTube channel, with a look at The Art of Jusant: The Great Expedition!
The 2023 climbing adventure game from Don't Nod brought with it a a variety of biomes and designs within The Tower, making it a great game to get the artbook treatment. The book was released by Pix'n Love in May of this year in partnership with the developer, Marine Macq as the author.
The book comes with over 350 pages that includes more than 500 pieces of art for the game. As well as this, the early chapters give fans the written history and making of the game. Throughout the later chapters that move the focus to the art, there are continued insights from the studio and members of the team, including interviews too, and all of the text comes in both English and French. Jusant is a single-player puzzle climbing adventure that was launched in October of 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Players control a nameless traveller that climbs a huge tower of rock in the dessert, coming across different environments and settlements as they go. With a mysterious and adorable companion, you work to find out what lies at the top of The Tower, as well as learning about the lives of the people that lived there before. It's a unique game from the studio that also has a wonderful soundtrack worth checking out too.
