Dark Horse Announce 'The Art of Fantastic Four'

Marvel and Dark Horse continue their Bullpen Books series with another entry coming later this year, this time shining the spotlight on Marvel's first family and a legend of the industry.
The Art of Fantastic Four highlights the incredible work of artist Jack Kirby and will be presented in an oversized hardcover. Focusing on a decade long run between 1961 and 1971, this book will feature 200 pages of his art, including the complete stories from issues 60, 71, 82 and The Fantastic Four Annual 6. The book is set for release on September 23rd with an RRP of $59.99 and will be 10" x 14" in size.
The Bullpen Books series from Dark Horse focuses on both characters and creators at Marvel, with this being the second release, following The Art of The Amazing Spider-Man that was released last year. That book focused on John Romita's run of the comic series from 1966 to 1973.
Dark Horse released another Jack Kirby focused artbook in February of this year, titled The Marvel Comics Covers of Jack Kirby Volume 1. It featured his work over the years of 1961 to 1964 for his cover art, coming with 184 pages in an 8 3/8" x 12 3/4 hardcover book.
This release will be perfect for those that love the art of Jack Kirby, as well as The Fantastic Four. It is timed perfectly for a new wave of fans that could be coming this year from Marvel Studios' new movie based on the heroes, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. 2025 is set to be a big year for Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm, with this book highlighting were it all started through the original artwork. Dark Horse have also been making artbooks for a long time, so expect another high quality hardcover book from the publisher.
