'AKREON' Artbook Heads to Kickstarter to Showcase the Stunning Artwork of Anna Podedworna

Concept artist and illustrator Anna Podedworna, aka Akreon, has an exciting new artbook coming to share a collection of her work through Kickstarter. The new book titled AKREON will deliver over 200 pages of her incredible art, perfect for her fans and also those that can't resist a volume of fantasy art in their collection.

Fans of her stunning artwork can to back the project and secure a copy of the book AKREON for their shelf, as well being able to get some exclusive extras that won't be available at retail. The cover art for the standard edition of the book seen above is spectacular and vibrant, so it will no doubt stand out in your collection. It comes with 224 pages in a 210 x 297 mm hardcover format, with holo-foil printed text on the cover, as well as on the page edges for some extra flare.

A Premium Edition that can only be bought when backing the book on Kickstarter is also available, giving those wanting a little more an alternative cover with a holo-foil effect of the same image on a cloth hardcover. It also comes with a signed bookplate and 32 extra pages of traditional art and sketches from Podedworna. The books are expected to begin shipping through the campaign in October 2026. Inside is a collection of some of Anna Podedworna's highlights from her career, including from video games, such as CD Projekt RED's Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. Her dynamic and colourful art will be complimented by a high-quality print finish on 150 gsm Arctic Volume paper, providing an excellent way to pore over the pages. AKREON was designed by Spiridon Giannakis, who is responsible for a huge catalogue of artbooks, as well as running the Kickstarter campaigns, putting it in the safe hands of someone that cares about the final product.

The funding goal for the campaign is €25,000 to get the book into full production and sold later at retail. As with previous projects from Spiridon, this will no doubt get funded very quickly, if it hasn't already been when you're reading this. Prints and bookmarks will also be available as add-ons, as well as some bonuses included in orders if targets are met too, making this a Kickstarter campaign for fans to get involved with. Anna Podedworna is an artist based in Warsaw, Poland and has been working in the video game and movie industries for over 10 years. While at college she began working at CD Projekt RED, a huge testament to her talent. Since then, she has worked with other big studios, including Flying Wild Hog, Disney, Warner Bros., and Wizards of the Coast, making a name for herself and building a huge following of fans.

She is known under the name Akreon online where she has shared her contributions to Dungeons & Dragons, Evil West, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Mufasa: The Lion King, and more.
