A Hardcover Release for 'The Art of KPop Demon Hunters' Arrives in September 2026

The award-winning global hit KPop Demon Hunters is getting shown more love later this year, as more fans will have the chance to see the art behind its incredible visuals following the news that The Art of Kpop Demon Hunters is getting a full retail release.
The 144-page hardcover has appeared on Amazon US and Canada, with more listings expected to begin appearing elsewhere, and it is set to arrive on September 8th 2026. The book is being publishing by Random House Worlds with an RRP of $40, a little lower than the pricing for many artbooks, but this is perhaps reflective of the lower page count.
Prior to this, the The Art of KPop Demon Hunters was made available online for free in a generous move by Gallery Nucleus, which can still be viewed here. Physical copies were also sold directly from their website as a paperback, making this new retail version an improvement with an upgrade to a hardcover.
Inside readers are treated to a look concept art for the characters, costumes, locations, keyframes, weapons, and more, sharing a look at the movie through the early ideas to final artwork. Alongside this, interviews from the creatives are also found to add more insights into what it took to create a cultural hit, with the book authored by Tracey Miller-Zarneke.
I previously noted in my report when the free version was shared that it is unusual for an artbook to be fully accessible with no charge, becoming even more unique now that the book is getting a full retail release. Previews are fantastic for getting more people interested in an artbook and those that enjoyed it on the screen can now add a physical copy their shelf. I also mentioned that it was odd it wasn't getting a mass market release, so it is great to see that is now happening.

KPop Demon Hunters was released on Netflix in 2025 and surpassed 500 million views before the end of that year, making it the most streamed movie of 2025. It has since gone on to win a huge list of awards, including Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song.
The animated movie follows the popular K-pop girl group 'Huntrix', who are secretly demon hunters when not performing on stage. It combines high intensity action, a creative style, catchy music, and inventive choreography, making it a powerhouse of visuals and storytelling that led it to becoming hugely popular. An artbook was therefore inevitable for the movie and the reveal that it will become more widely available is sure to excite it's many viewers.
