Clover Press have now launched their Kickstarter for the new book focused on the incredible artwork of Tyler Kirkham. This book is part of their ongoing 'Marvel Art of' series that delivers volumes of art from some of the best in the comic book industry.
The Marvel Art of Tyler Kirkham is already confirmed to be making its way to retailers after being successfully funded within hours of the crowdfunded campaign launching. At the time of writing this, it has already made over $80,000, far surpassing its $10,000 goal to fund the book. This follows a series of big wins for the publisher, who had six previous Marvel artbooks reach their goal in similar fashion. Fans of Kirkham can still back the project until July 4th and secure their own copy here - Kickstarter page.
The book comes as a high quality 9" x 12" hardcover, boasting 200 pages of art, a spot gloss cover, red gilded edging and a cloth bookmark. This makes for a worthy presentation of the stunning artwork of Kirkham, who has worked on a large number of characters at Marvel, as will be showcased in the book. The characters featured include some of the most popular names in the Marvel universe, such as Spider-Man, Deadpool, Carnage, X-Men, Moon Knight and Venom.
You can scroll through the book cover, dust jacket and slipcase cover below, in that order;
Like the previous Kickstarter campaigns from Clover Press, there are multiple tier options that offer different extras for The Marvel Art of Tyler Kirkham, giving those interested a good range of choice.
Some of the options are as follows;
A standard copy of the book - $75
A dustjacket edition - $85
A slipcase edition - $100
A signed slipcase edition + stickers - $155
A signed slipcase edition + prints - $190
A signed slipcase edition + original sketch - $325
There are also tiers that include bundles of the above and more. As well as this, more copies and the extras can also be included as add-ons for those wanting more loot from the campaign.
The book is estimated to ship in November of this year, which is a very good turnaround speed for a Kickstarter project. Like the other books, also expect it to be sold at a large number of retailers when it goes on general sale at a later date.

Clover Press is again doing a great job with their work on these releases and the Kickstarter projects, quickly building up their catalogue of artbooks for some of the comic book greats. This isn't exclusive to Marvel either, as they have recently funded their first entry in a line of artbooks for DC too, with The DC Art of Jorge Jiménez expected in October for backers of that hugely successful crowdfunding campaign.
Future updates on the book will be reported here and be sure to check out the project too - Kickstarter page.
