Suffering from a third delay, The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte has been moved out of January by publisher Abrams Books, as spotted on the listings of retailers.
The hardcover book was announced at SDCC 2024 for release in July 2025, but was later given a new release date of October at another event. However, it was silently pushed back again to January 13th 2026. As is not uncommon in the artbook world, another set back has hit the release and only noticed when checking listings of the book online. It is now expected to arrive on February 3rd 2026, fortunately a shorter delay than those that came before.

Waiting an extra month isn't that long in the grand scheme of things, given that the last artbook for a Star Wars live-action project was The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Season Two), which was published in February of 2022. This new book will be the first artbook in 4 years, a gap that has never been explained, but is slowly being filled by future releases.
The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte will allow fans to see the concept art behind the show that was set during the High Republic time period. It will highlight the designs for the characters, ships, locations, and more, alongside insights from the creators. The Star Wars artbooks have always been excellent, so their return will be welcomed with open arms by fans and collectors.
It's not alone though, as two more books are also coming for fans. First is The Art of Star Wars: Andor, which covers both seasons of the show and is expected to arrive next year. Second is The Art of the Mandalorian and Grogu that delivers a look at the new movie, season three of their TV series, and also The Book of Bobba Fett.
Future updates for The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte will be shared on this website and those interested can pre-order the book here for when it arrives on February 3rd;
