The Art of Harry Potter is Getting a 'Revised and Expanded' Edition in January
October 7th 2026
Harry Potter is set to make a return with a new TV adaptation this Christmas, but there is also good news for those that loved the previous movies, because a new artbook is coming early in 2027. The Art of Harry Potter (Revised and Expanded) is a rerelease of the 2017 original, but some new additions have been included to make it even more comprehensive than before.

Revealed in a listing on the website of its publisher Titan Books, this updated volume is expected to arrive on January 5th, 2027. No cover art is available yet, but this listing highlights that 32 additional pages are being added to cover the Fantastic Beasts movies, making what was already a huge book even bigger than before.
The original release, The Art of Harry Potter, features a look at paintings, concepts art, sketches, storyboards, and more for the story of the character and his friends, from The Philosopher's Stone, to the big finale in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2. The oversized volume will now be available with a look at spin-off prequels, of which only the first two entries, Fantstic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, received artbooks of their own.

Currently, there is no release date or publisher for the US and Canada, and the Titan Books listing show that they are not releasing it there. This was the case with the original 2017 book, because it was published in America by HarperCollins, which may be the case again. Listings for the book should begin to appear soon, with currently only Amazon UK having a live page for the book, which was only findable by searching with the ISBN number. With the book coming in just a few months, expect more news to come soon, including the official cover art.

The Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films take place in the Wizarding World, beginning in 2001 with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, following the story Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, as they navigate life as students at Hogwarts while having to confront Lord Voldemort. The series ended in 2011, but the prequel trilogy Fantastic Beasts then featured magizoologist Newt Scamander and the rise of another dark wizard in the Victorian era. Together, the 11 films have grossed approximately $9.5 billion worldwide, as well as spawning books, games, and an endless catalogue of merchandise.
Updates on The Art of Harry Potter (Revised and Expanded) will be shared as they happen, and those in the UK can pre-order the book below. People interested elsewhere can expect listings to go live soon.
