'The Art & Lore of Dead by Daylight' Coming June 2026

A new look at the multiplayer horror release Dead by Daylight is coming next year, promising to give fans of the game a look behind the scenes at what it took to bring the terror of The Entity's realm to life.
The Art & Lore of Dead by Daylight is coming by way of publisher Titan Books, who have partnered with the developer Behaviour Interactive, to highlight the concept art and development insights that helped create the hugely successful online game. Set for release in June 2nd 2026, the hardcover book comes with 192 pages of art, details, and interviews for those wanting more after surviving the night.
The book was revealed by the publisher on social media and is already available to pre-order through online retailers too. Paul Davies is the author and no stranger to artbooks, having penned multiple titles in the past, including releases for Assassin's Creed and various Marvel projects.
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror from Behaviour Interactive, giving one player the role of the Killer, who must hunt down four others playing as Survivors. Players must avoid the Killer and survive the night by escaping, or become victims and get sacrificed to the Entity. The maps are procedurally generated and players must use hide-and-seek tactics to navigate its environment and win the game.
Since its launch in 2016, Dead by Daylight continues to be hugely popular, with large numbers of concurrent players in 2025 and has hosted tens of millions of players over its lifespan. It also has a large roster of Killers and Survivors, including many horror icons from movies and video games, as well as many skins and DLC.
The ongoing success of the game will no doubt have many people interested in this release, whether they were playing since day one, or are newer to the terrifying game of cat-and mouse. Titan Books have an ever-increasing catalogue of video game artbooks, so players can expect a high quality release when the book arrives next year.
