'Loki: Season 2 - The Art of the Series' Coming in August After Additional 1 Week Delay

A small date change has been spotted on retailer listings for the already long delayed artbook based on Loki. Fans will again have to wait a little longer to see the early art behind Marvel Studios' hit series.
Originally due on October 1st of 2024, Marvel Studios' Loki: Season 2 - The Art of the Series has been a victim of multiple delays, with the last moving it to July 29th. Now though, the book is set to hit shelves on August 5th 2025, 10 months later than initially planned and a full year and 10 months after the second season premiered.
I have spoken endlessly about the delays from Marvel for these books, but that's because they keep happening. At least this time the delay is only by a week. However, as the last book to come in the old format, without a slipcase and prints, it should have been released before Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine: The Art of the Movie, which was released last October and does have them. Like the artbook for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, date changes have been especially hard on this book and are never acknowledged or explained.
Hopefully this is the last delay for people wanting a copy, but also because it becomes difficult to write about them. I can only say the same thing in so many different ways before I may as well copy and paste the previous articles. It's hugely frustrating that Marvel, for all the years they have been releasing comics and books, have been so consistently poor at sticking to their schedule. There is hope though, as Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts: The Art of the Movie has not yet been delayed, which would make it the first in the last 25 books to hit its original release date.
This book should be good though, as for all of their problems, the entries in the long-running series are more often than not superb, including the artbook for the first season. As well as this, art that has been released online is great, like the below from Karla Ortiz. As someone that really liked the show, this is one I'm excited to finally sit with and enjoy.
